| The legend has it that O'Donoghue the great chief of Ross, haunts the castle Lake. Apparently he went insane and asked his wife to cut him up into little bits so he would cheat old age and return in the form of an infant. Things went awry, their child suddenly died and O'Donoghue fell to his death. A very strange tale indeed. |
