| Over the centuries, the ghost of the once owner Edmond Roe O’Kennedy has appeared to unsuspecting visitors with a deathly pale look with his throat cut and the blood dark & congealed. He was said to have hidden a vast hoard of treasure which has never been found. In 1975 a German archaeology student visited the site only to hear a gasping sound behind him. As he turned around the apparition was standing at the top of the steps blocking his way. After hurling a large rock at the spectre, it disappeared into thin air. Was the spirit trying to harm him or maybe lead him to the treasure..we shall never know. |
