This inn dates back to the 15th Century, although it has been the subject of many changes during the years. The floors are on differing levels and there are numerous alcoves throughout the building.
The pub has various paranormal happenings taking place within it's walls. One is that of the doorbell which jams itself on at unsociable hours and refuses to be released. Another is that of the sighting of a grey lady and her child in one of the upstairs rooms. A previous manager used to sleep in this room and he once opened his bedroom door to discover his bed on fire. |
