Copy Cat Finisher Grudge Match

Paul London (So-Cal) vs AJ Styles

In a terrific opener to the card, London and Styles put on a match with many innovative moves as both men tried to one-up each other at every opportunity. London eventually hit AJ Styles with AJ's very own the Style Clash after taking a short cut with a low-blow to Style's groin. This one is not over for sure and I've got a feeling Styles might just chase after London in So-Cal!

Winner By Pinfall @ 08:20 Paul London

Leather Strap Grudge Match

Big Van Vader vs Mike Awesome

This was a brutal match, more of a Strong Style Japanese Heavyweight match with the strap thrown in for an extra twist, and to some suprise Vader seemed to recapture some form of old and dragged back Awesome right into a powerful Vader Bomb just when he was about to touch the 4th turnbuckle.

Winner By Pinfall @ 10:14 Big Van Vader

GCW Super-Middleweight Championship Match

Shelton Benjamin [c] vs Kid Kash

After the stiff action we saw in the previous match the show switched gears somewhat with a nice and tidy, technical affair from Shelton and Kash. Kash was the aggresser throughout but Benjamin dug down deep and showed why he is the champ taking out Kash clean with the T-Bone Suplex but Kash cannot be shamed as he put forth a sterling effort and somewhat seemed to win the fans over with his efforts.

The big talking point in this match though was the appearance of former 4-Times NWA World Jnr-Heavyweight Champion Majik, who slid into the ring behind Shelton as he celebrated and lamped him with the Spellbinder to leave the champ laying!

Majik debut's attacking Shelton!

Winner By Pinfall @ 07:24 Shelton Benjamin - Benjamin retains

GCW World Tag Team Championship Match - Hooligan Street Fight Rules

The Pitbull Suicide Squad [c]
(Paul Birchall & Doug Williams)
vs
Team 3D
(Brother Ray & Devon)

Now Team 3D know how to fight that is for sure. But this Hooligan Street Fight Rules "match" was right up the alley of the English Soccer Thugs, literally, with the rules being if one or more member of a tag team was knocked out cold his team lost.

Although Brother Ray and DVon tried every trick in their book, including tables, it wasn't enough as Burchall and Williams Spike-Piledrove DeVon through a car windscreen for an suitablly ultra-violent finish to the "match" which was well receieved by the fans.

Winners By KO @ 07:24 The Pitbull Suicide Squad - the PSS retains

Heavyweight Singles Match

"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters vs Sean O'Haire

A battle of the blue-chippers - the young-blood in GCW, and it was just a taster of what will become of both men in Georgia as both showed they belonged at the dance. With the crowd solidly behind O'Haire over the heelish Masters, O'Haire pulled out the duke when Masters tried to slap on the fabled Master-Lock but O'Haire struggled forward into the turnbucle and used the corner for a leverage flip over and onto Masters for the 1-2-3 as Masters kept hold of the lock.

Despite the pinfall loss, Masters refused to let go of the hold and as O'Haire faded Arn Anderson came running down to help O'Haire but he was followed by Carly Colon who cut him off and soon both Masters and Colon double-teamed Double A and O'Haire until The Nature Boy himself Ric Flair ran down and sent the heels for cover after a series of knife edge chops to both men, but especially to Colon - his opponent tonight!

Winner By Pinfall @ 05:48 Sean O'Haire

So-Cal Heavyweight Championship Match

"The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe [c] vs Abyss

Samoa Joe had been on a roll and was some say unbeatable. But today he showed some weakness. Abyss was on a high today and really took Joe to the limit, but what really swung the match in his favour was when Joe's shoulder was damaged after an Abyss torpedo into the steel post.

Joe rallied back and lifted Abyss for the Muscle Buster, but when ordinarily he would have put the Monster away, his injured shoulder gave way and he dropped him. Abyss was up quick and kicked Joe in the gut and ran the ropes for a big boot but Joe ducked nailed Abyss with a knee-lift and then rebounded off the ropes himself for a flush Ole' Kick and Abyss was out. Samoa Joe picked up the 3 and retained the title but his shoulder really did seem to be bothering him as he left the ring.

Winner By Pinfall @ 12:14 Samoa Joe - Joe retains

Bowery Death Match

Raven vs Sting

This match was strange, as throughout Sting seemed intent of showing Raven a lesson. He would berate Raven, beat him down, and then berate him some more.

In the end the finish was quite bizzare as Raven had Sting ready for the Evenflow DDT but backed off and instead dropped his head and allowed Sting to land his
Scorpion Death Drop. Sting covered and Raven kicked out on 2 3/4. Sting hit Raven again with the Scorpion Death Drop and this time Raven wasn't getting up.

Sting then helped a dazed and probably concussed Raven up to his feet and nodded to Raven, before leaving the ring as Raven dropped into a corner turnbuckle with a look of total inner peace on his face.

Winner By Pinfall @ 9:38 Sting

GCW Southern Heritage Championship Match

"The Nature Boy " Ric Flair[c] vs Carly Colon

Flair and Colon have had quite the feud. Ric Flair beat Colon for the vacant belt at the very first Glory back in January, but their altercations date back even before then, back to the inception of GCW with the two men regularly clashing on house shows as long ago as last October - A period of some 6 MONTHS.

Since the first Glory, Carly has been on a crusade to put right the wrong (in his eyes) that was his initial loss to Flair but as of the point of the Clash came up empty handed as Flair rolled back the years and kept retaining his title, by hook or by crook.

As such, this match was declared a NO DQ and no Time-Limit match, tonight there would be a winner once and for all and that winner was Ric Flair as although Chris Masters interfered to make it 2-on-1 for a while, Arn Anderson and Sean O'Haire came out to even out that situation and as Masters, Anderson and O'Haire brawled to the back - suddenly Flair signalled to the back and that oh so familar music played out..... And out stepped...

GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG!

Carly Colon visibly p*ssed himself in the ring, before he tried to bail out of the ring but was met by the advancing Bill Goldberg who rocked carly with several stiff punches before tossing him back into the ring.

Flair unleashed several chops to Carly's chest as he staggered around the ring ... he circled round and walked right into a SPEAR!!! FROM GOLDBERG! Seconds later it was a JACKHAMMER and Carly was out-cold! Flair slapped on the Figure-Four and with Colon out cold the ref called the match and The Nature Boy retained the title.

But this wasn't over. Out walked Arn Anderson and Sean O'Haire who joined Flair and Goldberg in the ring ... Flair flashed the 4-Horseman sign and the Georgia Dome erupted as all four men embraced and hoisted Flair up on their shoulders! Are the 4-Horsemen back!?

Winner By Submission/Ref's Decision @ 13:14 Ric Flair - Flair retains

-Clash Of The Champions Main-Event 1-
"Clash Of The Champions" NWA/GWL World Title Unficiation Match

Rhyno
(NWA World Champion) vs Edge (GWL World Champion)

After the recent events of CXW leaving the GWL and reforming under the XWF, the events lead to Edge taking the GWL World Heavyweight Title with the XWF out of the GWL.

Although GCW is not an affliated member of the GWL, The GWL Champion was booked for the show prior to Edge's title victory and as such Edge had to honour the booking or be stripped. Therefore this could very will be the GWL's last chance to regain the championship, as Edge might not agre to come back to defend the title who knows?!

With both the NWA and GWL versions of the World Title up for grabs, Edge suprised Rhyno by wearing a steel protected chest pad under his attire, a la Bret Hart circa WCW match with Goldberg. Rhyno hit his Speare but was badly injured with the impact and Edge eventually got up, hit a Spear of his own and unified both the NWA and GWL World Titles!

Winner By Pinfall @ 15:19 Edge - New NWA & GWL Unified World Champion!

-Clash Of The Champions Main-Event 2-

GCW World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match

"The Pain" Brock Lesnar[c] vs Shawn Michaels vs "The Midnight Rocker" Marty Jannetty

This match was given the time it deserves and was a real slow burner, a damn fine match. Lesnar as predicted dominated large periods of the match and occassionaly worked with Marty against Shawn on various occassions.

But with Lesnar about to hoist Shawn up for a Verdict, HBK gave Marty a glance as the Champion began to hoist him up and Jannetty hesitated for a second ... before low-blowing Brock from behind and Shawn super-kicked Lesnar down to the canvas to follow up!!

HBK and Marty hugged and smirked as they played the crowd for several moments, who booed the living crap out of both of them, before Jannety and HBK stood face-to-face. Shawn "sneezed" and Jannetty fell down like he had been hit by a sledgehammer.

Shawn covered 1 ... 2 ..... NOOOO! They had taken too long and Brock had recovered enough to make a desperate dive to break up the count! Brock got up, a little dazed - and was about to punch Michaels square in the jaw when Marty jumped to his feet and pushed Brock into the ropes who bumped right into HBK and knocked him from the ring. Jannetty instinctively quickly rolled-up Brock 1...2....3 and got the suprise pinfall!

Was it a fast count? No but it was faster than normal. Marty looked shocked and looked around as if this wasn't supposed to happen, and quickly bailed out of the ring as an angry Lesnar got to his feet.

The referee passed the GCW World Championship to Marty Jannety, who was open-mouthed stunned and quickly left the arena as the decision was announced.

Marty Jannetty is the new GCW World Champion! Wow.

Winner By Pinfall @ 19:42 "The Midnight Rocker" Marty Jannetty- New GCW World Champion!
