1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 clove minced garlic
1 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup long grain rice
1 1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon grans
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 slices crisp bacon
In saucepan cook onion, mushrooms, pepper and garlic in butter till tender but not brown. Stir in rice, bouillon
pepper and 1 1/2 cups water. Birng to boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or till rice is tender
and liquid absorbed. Stir in curmbled bacon. |
