Our Bridal Party

Groomsmen

Best Man: Merrill Friesen
Merrill is my best friend and a fellow Christian. We met in the Young Singles group at Lincoln Berean Church where Andrea and I attend. Together with Brant (see below), we make the Three Amigos, which is an accountability group which meets infrequently for dinner before Tuesday night men's Bible study. Merrill is a solid and committed friend and it has been great to see him growing in his walk with the Lord.

Best Man: Jeff Miller
Jeff is my other best friend (hence, the reason for two best men). We were roommates for almost three school years while attending the University of Minnesota - Duluth. He is now living in Denver and working with computers for ADIC. He is married to another Buffalo fan named Lori, and thay have two daughters. This was the first time I was able to see their youngest, Kelly, who is an absolute doll!

Lara McMaster
It works out well that I have one sister and Andrea has one brother because it allowed them both to walk down the aisle together. My sister lives in Las Vegas along with husband, Christian, and my two nephews, Parker (ring-bearer) and Justin. I was a "bridesmaid" in my sister's wedding, and it was nice to have her standing with me for mine.

Michael McMaster
Mike and I used to get in tons of trouble while growing up. I used to wrestle and fight with him all the time and it's a good thing we grew out of that because he is now several inches taller than me! Mike was married to his bride, Chas, on March 2. They are living in Rochester along with their two beloved golden retrievers, Roo and Kinley.

Brant Burkey
Brant has always struck me as a very solid individual. He is quick with a joke and there as a friend whenever you need him. We first met in the Young Singles group, but got to know each other during the group's ski trip to Jackson Hole back in January of 1999. Being a city slicker all my life, I was curious to see what farming is all about. Working for a commercial hog operation west of Lincoln, he gave me a tour and let me drive a tractor while disking. Don't let his goatee and wide body fool you - inside he's a big teddy bear.

Gus Ponstingl
Gus is another good friend from the Young Singles group. Together with Brant and Merrill, the four of us get together for guy's nights out and for the "Meeting of the Minds" during which we (mostly Gus and I) discuss current events and the economy. We both follow the precious metals markets closely and enjoy watching news headlines, especially as it relates to biblical prophecy.

Bridesmaids

Matron of Honor: Lindsey Bard
Lindsey and I met in college. We were both in the Delta Gamma sorority and involved with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Lindsey really taught me what it is like to live and walk with Jesus. SHe has not only been an excellent model in Christ, but a wonderful friend. We share deeply with each other and I know she's always praying for me.

Heather Marxhausen
Heather and I met in high school and our relationship has only grown by leaps and bounds since. My favorite times with Heather are just sitting in a coffee shop, drinking coffee and sharing about our lives. We can talk forever when we're together. She is a very special friend.

Jon Froehlich
Jon is my brother and he really made our wedding day special by all his thoughtful touches. The night of the rehearsal dinner, he sang a song to Steve and I that he had composed on his guitar. Note: Jon also caught the garter at the reception, so we'll be awaiting the big news here sometime soon.

Laurie Wells
Laurie and I met at Drake and were both Delta Gammas. Laurie has always been a treasured friend. I look forward to sharing with her whenever something new and exciting happens in my life because she is just as excited for me. She brought her seven-month-old, Lissa, to the wedding, and it was fun to share this time with her, too.

Cari Wolfson
Cari and I have been on many adventures together since we met at Drake in the Delta Gamma house. We spent many nights together in college up late studying for tests, and the summer after we graduated, we went backpacking in Europe for over a month. You really get to know someone when you travel with them, and Cari learned that I am not a good map reader (one time we were on a train in Germany going the wrong way for an hour!).

Cristina Moore
Cristina and met when I first moved to Lincoln, where God miraculously brought us together as roommates. She has a solid relationship with the Lord and she challenged me to grow with Him during the eight months we lived together. It taught me a lot about true and honest friendship.

Teather Campbell
Teather and I met in the Young Singles group at Lincoln Berean Church. We both started attending the group around the same time and became good friends right away. Teather was my roommate in Lincoln, and she was engaged during most of this time. She and her husband have been another model of a godly relationship for Steve and I.
