Meg sits at a window sill, glaring out at the city of Thebes with hopeful eyes. She's in Herc's villa waiting for hero to come home from saving towns, rescuing damsels, and of course, fighting monsters...just the usual hero stuff. She sighs softly watching the sun go down, longing for him to come home early today. Tonight the wait seems longer than ever. The minutes seem like hours, and the houyrs go by ever so slowly, and still no sign from wonderboy. Finally in exhaustion from watching happy couples go by, and staring endlessly at the moon, Meg drifts off lying her head on her arm and closes her eyes. As cool breezes sweep across her face through the window, they lull her to sleep. As she dreams of her hero, a dark figure watches her from a safe distance. He eyes her carefully, quite pleased with himself in doing so. He keeps his watch on her all night till Hercules rolls in the door. Herc walks up to the sleeping Meg in his room and kisses her softly on the neck. The figure growls at this. Hercules picks her up careful not to awaken her, and lies her down softly on a huge bed. He lies down next to her, and places her head on his chest using him as a pillow. He then places his arms around her holding her gently. He soon falls asleep holding his love in his arms....
"IT'S NOT FAIR!!!" The figure yelled angrily. With that he stormed off.
-Morning-
As the sun comes up, daylight peeks into the dim room making it's way slowly over to Meg and Herc. The sunlight creeps over Megs face, and she wakes quietly. As she knew she would she woke in Herc's arms. She looks up to him lovingly adoring every aspect of him. He's so handsome when he's sleeping, I'm so lucky! she thinks to herself happily. With that thought she whispers "I love you" in his ear and slowly creeps off the bed, careful not to wake him. She takes one last glance at Herc and sighs lovingly as she leaves the room. She walks into the kitchen ready to start breakfast, after all she knows he had a long night, and an even longer day ahead of him. After she pulls her hair up and starts stirring batter for pancakes two large arms reach around her and a soft gentle voice whispers:
"I love you too"
Meg quickly tuns around "Morning sleepyhead! I'm sorry honey did I wake you?"
"Me? Nah, I had to get up anyways" he smiles sheepishly.
Meg's smiles quickly turns into a frown and she crosses her arms "And where exactly was my hero all night long?"
"Oh Meg I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! It's just there was this minitior....yeah...and people tried to get away, but they couldnt! and then there was this girl..."
"Whoa slow down Wonderboy. What about a girl?!?!" (at this point she's just teasing him, she knows the boyscout would never cheat on her)
Herc's eyes widen thinking he's really in trouble this time. "Oh no Meg it's not like that! She was a D.I.D, ya kno a damsel in distress? I helped her. I'm so sorry Megara I love you so much!" With that he hugged her nearly crushing her small little body.
"Wonderboy! It's ok, i'm just kiddin ya. I love you too Herc."
As the couple went on to eat breakfast, and plan their day the figure looked on from his gloomy underworld.
"IT'S NOT FAIR!!!" He repeated exploding.
