Teddy Bare Dreams

There was a challenge out there to write a poem called Teddy Bear Dreams. Well, I came close anyway!

Muggy night
Passing cars through an open window
No hint of a breeze
Sweaty sheets
Just you and me and the heat

No t-shirt, no boxers, no briefs
Just a teddy slipping from between us

A drop of sweat falls
My nose to your cheek
You smile
It's really too warm

Yet it gets hotter
Between you and I
Passion and sweat, fervor and fever
The cursed, unbelievable, sultry, slippery heat
Yes

Gasp!
Startled, I awake
Alone with the heat
And the memory of my Teddy Bare Dreams
