Woodturnings By Steven Raphael
Welcome to the World of my woodturnings
Laminated Beech Goblet Sanded to 2000 grit and finished with polyurethane with a coat of paraffin wax buffed over it. Cherry Candle holder with a bees wax finish. This started out as a goblet but I cut the bowl a little to thin and broke through the wall.
Unknown wood laminated goblet sanded to 2000 grit Polyurethane finish
Pine Goblet finish is bees wax
Maple goblet with captured ring sanded to 2000 grit finish is Polyurethane.
This was one of my first turnings after 25 years since the last time I worked at a lathe in jr high school
Maple goblet sanded to 2000 grit no finish yet (I am not sure what I am going to use as a finish on this one)
Maple goblet turned green. It started to crack as I was defining the lower edge of the base so I parted it off before it could get worse.
