About rainfall: Rainfall is a program that I wrote for MS-DOS. The rainfall program was a popular virus that affected a lot of systems in the MS-DOS era. The funny thing that this virus did was it made the characters displayed on the screen drop down towards the bottom of the display. The rainfall.exe program is written to emulate the display as it was done by the rainfall virus. This program was implemented in 80x86 16-bit assembly language. I intend to put the source code for display over time, till then you can check it out.
