MUST SUCK TV!

Congratulations Coronation Street, not only have you reached 40 years of age, you have made it into the Must Suck column!

Okay I believe in credit where credit is due and 40 years is a great feat for any programme especially in the cutthroat genre that is the Soap Opera!

And, yes it took a lot of guts to send a programme out live both for the cast and the production team and what a coup to manage to have Prince Charles to make a cameo on a TV screen!

But hey, I find soap operas the lowest form of entertainment (I watch wrestling, I should know!) and the fact that they have managed to churn out 40 years worth of rehashed stories is a miracle in itself. When are people gong to realize they are watching stories that they have already seen. But then that's like asking how long will the Ken Barlow VS Mike Baldwin feud is going to end.

The most dangerous man in the world!

The courts have decided and it's official there is a jackass President Elect! George W Bush will become the most powerful man in the world in January.

Okay so Bill Clinton may have been a liar, but hey he had charisma and tried to make a difference especially when it came to bringing peace to Northern Ireland... something I can't see George Bush Jr. doing!

I believe in giving people a clean slate when they start something so let's see how long it takes ol' Dubya to screw up his nation and see if he realizes that there is a world outside his United states!

Prince William cleans his thrown!

Pictures in the press of Prince William cleaning toilets in Chile during his gap year is great PR if you consider the amount of backlash there has been regarding the royal family.

But this is Christmas and the Hunts are about to begin in a few weeks so all this good PR is wasted. Get on your horse Willie and bag one of those pesky foxes!
