Telling it as it is!

Tragedy on the lines

A freak accident on the M62 in Selby in which a Landrover overshot the safety barrier and collided with a Passenger train caused more concerns about the nations railways.

The GNER owned train derailed and collided with a freight train killing ten people and leaving many more seriously injured.

Although the rail companies are not at fault, this is just another nail in the coffins of Britain's not so illustrious railway network.

Foot and Mouth 2!

Okay, I covered this last week, but, it has been the dominant news story for the second week running and I don't have many opportunities to spread Veggie propaganda!

Now with the Countryside off limits, racing and the Ireland/Wales Rugby Union 6 Nations match postponed things are not looking good!

With this disease spreading across the country it will be interesting to see how patriotic people are when the stores run out of British produce and begin to import foreign.

What is stronger the lust for British meat or the lust for meat in general?

Let it snow!

As snow consumed most of the country last week it makes me wonder when we as a nation are going to learn how to deal with it!

It's not as if snow is new to us, but we seem to be getting caught off guard and if it looks as if the car might not make it to it's final destination why bother trying!

Boring Brits

Another year another Brit awards and I have one question, Does anyone really care anymore?

I for one do not, the fact that Spice Girls received a lifetime achievement award last year, before U2 this year made me wonder who does all the voting!

The Brits are just a chance for the British record industry to pat themselves on the back while while hoping that Jarvis Cocker or someone will do something that will make the awards talked or printed about.
