Foot and Mouth 4: Still going Strong
Five weeks into the crisis and an end no where in site! With the military moving in and mass culls ordered we are now looking at an epidemic that is bigger than that 30 years ago!
So where, as during BSE scares, there was the patriotic buy British attitude it looks as if very soon it will be hard to do just this.
Having experienced first had this misguided patriotism (through working in a fresh food store), those who won't back buy anything that isn't British will soon have to learn another word Vegetarian.
S Club 7 Riding High!
The three boy members of Pop group S Club 7 were arrested this week for smoking cannabis in the street.
It is unsure if clean-cut S Club 7 wanted to get higher in the charts or if this was there way of appealing to a new market. I'm sure that they will be branded as dopes by their critics.
Hear'Say today, Gone tomorrow
So Hear'Say the group created so that ITV and Nigel Lythgoe can extract more money from parents of the preteen pop market have reached the No1 spot in the UK charts with their irritating debut Pure and Simple.
I would congratulate them like the rest of the tabloid press, but, congratulations on what. They released the single at a time where there was no competition to fight off. So a No1 was always guaranteed.
Their next single should be released at a time in which they are going up against a real band. I hear REM have a new single out soon, or maybe U2.
