Telling it as it is!
Foot and Mouth 5
There seems to be no end in sight as Foot and Mouth continues to consume more Farmers across Britain with more and more confirmed cases every day.
A bit of positive news if you can call it that is that Safeway (or at least my local branch) has increased their Vegetarian range....hurrah!
Reelection Day?
Could Tony Blair please call the next General Election so that we can have the Gossard billboard posters back!
I'm sorry, but when you are stuck in traffic the last thing you want is an advert for a Political party to look at when you can have something better (unless Labour/Tries/LibDems want to use models to promote their policies)!
Best: "Boozing for Ireland"
According to the Sun Drinking....sorry I mean football legend George Best is back doing what he does best, despite warnings from his doctors that it could kill him.
George is an addict who needs help, but, if he can't help himself how can anyone else.
England strikes Back
After a terrible start to the 2002 World cup campaign, England under Sven Goran Eriksson scored two vital wins in the space of a week (against Finland and Albania) with Andy Cole netting his first England goal against Albania.
No secret that I am not a Manchester United fan ,but, I do rate Andy Cole as a natural talent who should have been capped more. Lets hope with Eriksson's help this will be Andy's first of many!
Hear'Say 1 "Nasty" Nigel £2 million
The Sun on Friday reported that Popstars guru/creator "Nasty" Nigel Lythgoe has made £2 million from his new cash machine that is Hear'Say while each member of the group has only made £100,000 each.
Not to be a cynic, but that is £900,000 more than they deserve. The group is the worst kind of pop possible and the single Pure and Simple is just that!
Why shouldn't Nigel make all the money after all he was the one that turned five mediocre talents into a new cash cow for himself to milk dry. I have no sympathy for any of the artistes as they have had fame handed to them on a plate.
