Telling it as it is!
Foot in Mouth 2: The Mouth has landed!
Sophie Countess of Wessex entered her second week of utter humiliation with the News of the World printing 10 pages of copy from the meeting with their 'fake' Sheik!
The Countess announced that she would be withdrawing from her public relation outfit RJ-H.
Okay, we all know that the Royals, with all their Education are in fact the biggest idiots in the world and that they seem to (with very few exceptions) have the incredibly ability to be attracted to idiots!
The fact that Sophie said such things, that she has been reported to have said about the other members of the Royal family as well as the PM and his wife leave me with the impression that Sophie is the biggest idiot of the lot!
I'm sorry, but if you are in the position of Sophie the last thing that you would do is to reveal your feelings about your family and influential people to a complete stranger unless you want to help destroy the Royal family.
But, then again does Royal It's a Knockout ring any bells.....Edward?
Leeds look in the (Sunday) Mirror!
The trial of two Leeds football players came to a surprise halt this week after the Sunday Mirror printed an interview with the Victim's father.
With £8 million of public money wasted, the two defendants now face a retrial later this year while the Sunday Mirror faces the possibility of being in Contempt of Court!
In my opinion the whole idea of the innocent victim has been vanquished with his father willing so easily to capitalize on his sons injuries.
I for one was all for justice and believed the footballers in question were guilty as all the evidence in the Media suggested this. But now I am of the belief that if his father was so easy to sell the story to the National Press, then does that not put in mind a different view of the 'innocent' victim.
Wales Net loss!
The North Wales couple who purchased American twins over the internet lost them in court this weeks as the babies were ordered to be returned to the US.
Judith Kilshaw stormed out of the court claiming that there was no justice.
I have to disagree, as what sort of people would have to or for that matter want to purchase babies over the internet rather than through proper and legal adoption procedure in this country.
There must be some reason that the Kilshaws felt that they must go through the internet to purchase the babies that they wanted rather than adopting them legally.
In today's society it is not legal or ethical to be able to purchase human lives as commodity and I commend the judge on the decision that he reached!
China keep the plane!
Earlier this week China released the airmen that China had detained following the crash-landing of a US Spy plane in China airspace. But, they liked the plane so much that the decided to keep it!
US ambassador Jospeh Prueher delivered an apologize for invading Chinese airspace and the fate of the missing pilot involved in the crash.
"Sorry" really wasn't that hard, now was it Dubya!
Tescos hit the £1bn profit
Supermarket leaders Tescos announced making £1bn in profits this years despite claiming that it only accounted for 3p in the pound after tax.
I'm sorry but is £1bn in profits really something to brag about.....Okay it is, but considering the state of the farmers at the moment is it not a little insensitive to publish the results at such a delicate time.
A marriage made in Evans
With the news that increasingly unpopular teen singer Billie Piper is going to marry Media mogul Chris Evans because 'She wants to"!
Euuughhhh think of their kids, red haired rejects from the Wizard of OZ!
But hey, if she gives up the singing thing then maybe it's a blessing in disguise!
Go for it Chris!
