Milosevic goes to trial!

Former Yogoslav dictator was indicted on war crimes charges this week and faces trial in the near future.

Hallelujah, justice! The 'Butcher of the Balkans' deserves maximum punishment for what he is accused of.

Lets just hope that this trial is a repeat of what happened during one of the famous Neuremburgh war trials where those found guilty were hung!

Orange Marching Season

David Trimble's resignation as Northern Ireland's first minister due to the IRA's failure to decommission arms came at a bad time with the Marching season beginning.

Trimble was a key person in the peace process and his presence will be missed, but on the eve of the Orange marching season this makes the situation even worse.

Now I have live in an areas where there is an even mix of Catholics and Protestants and yet Orange men march once a year.

I'm sorry but Northamptonshire is not Ireland and who really cares out some patriotic crap when it is spreading prejudice. I do not care what the Orange men are celebrating, but I do care about violence and racial/religious intolerance.

So as in the words of John Lennon "All we are saying is give peace a chance".

Sky-lights

I would love to comment on some of the wonderful programmes that I have been watching on my wonderful digi-box this week, but I can't!

For some reason the box self-destructed after a year and four weeks and three Sky repair men later the box is still UN-operative. Now, with the Roswell season finale next Wednesday, they had better fix it or else NTL have a new customer.

Belinda Carlisle Go-Go's Naked

While all of the National newspapers seems to have failed to notice that pop Goddess Belinda Carlisle has posed nude for Playboy magazine I have.

Go-Go Belinda poses for some tasteful '50s style shots that are show that she's still got it at 42!

Okay, I'm biased as I have been a fan for 13years but Belinda looks incredible. She looks just as good with her clothes on as the picture to the right show! Nice one Bel!

(Midland) Mainline Rip-off!

On a trip from Kettering to London this week I expected to pay at most £42 for the journey at 8am in the morning. Not £42! I'm sorry but considering that I had to stand (unless I wanted to go in the smoking compartment) this is a rip-off!

I mean £42! Will any of this money that Midland Mainline are making go towards improvements to their service? I don't think so!

The only people that benefit from this extortionate charge are the fat cats that bleed the commuters and day tripper's dry!

For £42 I expect incredible service, a comfortable journey and a bit of pampering....all of which I DID NOT receive.
