Still telling it as it is!
Rail in Crisis (again)!
Another year and the British Rail is still in crisis! Sorry British Rail was privatized, I mean Britain's Railways are STILL in crisis!
With Workers striking and fat-cats getting fatter, topped with substandard Station, tracks , carriages etc., is it any wonder the at the railways are in as bad a state as they are in!
Rather than paying some overpaid moron to work out what is wrong Transport Secretary Stephen Byers should sort the problem as opposed to talking about sorting the problem!
FA Cup Fiasco!
What should have been a mighty victory by Second Division Cardiff over Premiership Title Chasers Leeds was marred by some of the worst British football violence in recent years!
Provoked in part by Cardiff Owner Sam Hammam (whose bodyguard is a convicted Football Hooligan) walking sitting behind the Leeds goal in the second half and walking around the pitch 10 minutes before the final whistle.
The actions of the Thug culture that ruined the match for both home and away fans should be condemned like the actions of Mr. Hammam.
It may have been an impressive Victory the Cardiff City football club but it will be remembered for the disgraceful display by the owner and fans.
A Shaw Pain!
Coronation Street's Tracy Shaw hit the headlines again this week, this time for beating her husband up on a Jet.
It is amazing what these celebrities with little talent will do to ensure a headline, and Ms Shaw one of the most parasitic of a bad bunch must have loved the attention it has drawn her.
Come on, she is never going to win any accolades for her acting (or lack of) talent! So being able to throw a few good slaps is a nice way to secure a headline!
New Enterprise!
After the final journey of Star Trek Voyager, the Franchise's creative team have (at last) brought back the magic of the original Star Trek (and The Next Generation) with Enterprise!
Set some 100 years after events in Star Trek 8 First Contact 100years before the original Star Trek, Enterprise charts the beginning of "going where no man (Star Trek)/no one (Next Generation) has gone before.
Heading the cast is Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap) as Captain Jonathan Archer with the sultry Jolene Blalock as Vulcan T'Pol.
Enterprise has managed to do the near impossible and breathe real life into the nerd infested franchise and bring back the glory days of the 60s and early 90s.
Setting the series at the birth of familiar Star Trek technology and before the birth of the Federation of Planets provides for some real excitement and adventure.
After the touch and go Deep Space 9 and the pretty dull Voyager, Enterprise is good old fashioned Sci-fi television at its best.
