Mini Movie Bio:

I became interested in movies at an early age through the Star Wars movies. As I grew as did my love for cinema and the whole making of process.

I studied Media at GCSE level from the age of 16 and learned very little from the one year course so I took the natural step and studied it at BTEC level for two years which gave me the ground knowledge for me to continue to the University level where I studied Media Production with Journalism and specialised in Journalism and Film Production.

After leaving University I found it harder than I ever imagined to get a job within the Industry so I turned to Internet writing to improve my Journalistic skills and keep myself active.

In late 2002 I began writing my first screenplay "Shoulder the Sky" just to prove that I could write a full length narrative. The result of which renewed my love of the film making process.

In 2004 with three scripts at varying stages of completion (2 on first draft one on exploritary draft) I began to write the Film School section of my site and continue with my Scripts and Journalism.

Favourite Filmmakers :

George Lucas - My first cinematic hero. The creator of Star Wars. If it was not for Episode IV: A New Hope my life would have been completely different.

Kevin Smith - A true writing genius. When I read Chasing Amy for the first time I was amazed by how beautiful it was.

Robert Rodriguez - The best of th best! His movies are excellent from El Mariachi through to Once Upon a Time in Mexico. He does the best DVD commentaries for Wannabe Filmmakers while his 10 minute Film schools can't be beat.

Quentin Tarantino - One word PASSION. Quentin is a true film geek and one of the few film makers whom could make Paint Drying an interesting thing. His passion for movies comes through in his interviews. When teamed with Robert Rodriguez on the From Dusk till Dawn DVD Commentary he shines even brighter than ever before.
