Still telling it as it is!

Mini Reviews:

Ghost World (Region 1 DVD) Pure brilliance! This is what is wrong with the multiplexes in this country! The one movie that I wanted to see last year opened in the UK to a limited release, but at last I have been able to see the incredible Ghost World via an import DVD and it was well worth the wait!

Based on the cult comic book of the same name Ghost World follows outsiders Enid (Thora Birch and Rebecca Scarlett Johansson) who after graduating high school seem intend on tormenting those around them.

All is fine until one of them falls for one of their victims.

What makes this film so refreshing is that it does not let up from the start to the finish. All of the characters are screw-ups at the start of the film ands they are still screw-ups at the end.

This is a movie for anyone who is an outsider, the people who walk on the other side of the street, the biggest dose of reality since Kevin Smith's Clerks!

Steve Buscemi puts in an incredible performance as Seymour, a guy whom you cannot help but to feel for while Thora Birch is definitely one to watch!

The extras on this disc are hardly worth mentioning with a music video, trailers, and some deleted scenes really do little!
