Had a check up at the Doctors again today. He said that I was ok to return to work as long as I take it steady - easier said than done!. Interesting weather today. The whole sky turned orange followed by a hot wind - sure sign that a sandstorm is coming.
Spent most of the day on the balcony trying to get a pre-holiday tan. Kept phoning the vienna
concert ticket hotline but it's constantly engaged!.
Officially launched my site on the web today. Still not managed to sort out tickets for the DM
concert yet!. We maybe going to see them in Vienna now on Sept 11th.
Went to the shop for supplies. As I paid for it all I watched as the delivery boy was loaded up and sent unsteadily on his way. Walking back to the apartment, I turned the corner to my building and saw the delivery boy sprawled out on the floor, bike mangled, shopping everywhere!. I Picked him up, dusted him off and carried it myself. Still gave him a tip though.
Feel a lot better today, the pills must be kicking in now. Done nothing all day but surf the web and listen to music . Soon be fit for work - rock on!
Went to Doctor's this morning. He said the ulcer will take its time to heal and I need to rest for a bit longer. Still really windy so haven't seen anything of G & M today. Sadie has spent most of the night trying to sort the flights out for our holiday but the internet connection keeps dropping - frustrating!.
Sicky feeling still there so I phoned the Doctor. He said to increase my medicines and see him in the morning. Cant watch T.V. because the wind is blowing the dish everywhere - bored, bored, bored!.
Woke up this morning still feeling sick. Sat down to a bowl of soggy cornflakes and hot milk listening to the sound of George cracking his shell against the doorframe. Finished breakfast and noticed it had gone quiet. Went outside to see George upside down in a puddle of pee, his little arms and legs flapping ten to the dozen!. Turned him the right way round and watched him head for the leaves, not seen him since!.
