			Stevie got the name Rhiannon out of a novel titled "The Exorcist Triad". She really thought it was a beautiful name.She sat down & 10 minutes later wrote Rhiannon.Stevie thought she was a queen & that her memory became the myth.This was 2 mths before joining Fleetwood Mac in "1974".Stevie made her into what she thought was a old welsh witch.After writing the song she found out someone from Phoenix found a whole Trilogy of books written in "1972" on welsh mythology and that Rhiannon was a welsh witch.The Trilogy of books was called "The Song Of Rhiannon".This was really weird cause Stevie never saw this trilogy & yet the song is about it. It is about a lady who lived in Walis called Branwen ,which is a welsh name also,her real name was Branwen.The other personality that came & took over was Rhiannon.She is a very mystical women who finds it very,very hard to be tied down in any kind of way. The Legend of Rhiannon is about the song of the birds that take's away the pain and relieve suffering.And so the Legend lives on Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night & wouldnt you love to love her....
