Currently working... well not really, but just thought I'd start up a blog. I should've done this when I started travelling because this would give an idea of my antics and random comments over the past 6 months... oh well here's to my first blog, not sure where to start though... Lets start with last weekend... Friday - had free after work drinks as our computer system was successfully launched.  Went to Piccadilly (love saying that as it reminds me of Monopoly) to meet up with Rade (an old friend I played soccer with (and against)).  It was his work farewell and I continued drinking.  He had a flight at 8am on sat morning to Venice with the girl he's seeing, she was not impressed when we strolled into her apartment at 4:30am.  By 6am we had the whole apartment up and out to kill us, so I up and left the 'love nest'.  Saturday (hungover) - Caught a train to Cambridge to meet up with Matt Stephan and his fiance, Susan.  We caught up on the latest and I informed him of the goings on in Canberra.  We strolled around through the colleges, which made Uni of Canberra look like a Uni bar... these colleges were imaculate!  I actually felt intelligent walking around the place.  Left Cambridge and the lovely couple at around 9pm and headed back to London.  Sunday - woke at 8:30am to go and 'play' soccer at 10:30am.  It was drizzling and I was on the bench.  Come the second half the rain started to pour down.  We drew 1-1.  After the game I got a random message from Andy, a guy I met during the world cup.  One 'snakebite' turned to two, 2 to 3 and 3 turned into the 'She Bu Walkabout' (a huge aussie pub hangout) and that turned into 4am.  Monday - Thursday... Sick with the flu and not in the mood to work.  One more day to go...    In closing, Rade and his partner did get on that flight to Venice, I didn't play at all sunday morning (which added to my sickness) and I'm alive.  My weekends aren't normally as eventful as that but random weekends are normally the best!
