Well sad to leave UK but on my way home now… Weekend – took off from the landlady with the keys!  Crazy story in itself tell you about it when i get back.  Sat- took flight to Iceland, Reykyjavyk to be exact.  Looked out the window when arriving and I swear it felt like we were landing on the moon.  Arrived in amazing blizzard.  You’ll have to see the photos when I get back.  The guesthouse I stayed in was really cool called Baldursbra.  I recommend this place.  Met Oliver, this French guy staying at the hostel who loved football (ronaldinho in particular) and he showed me around town.  Watched Barcelona at the restaurant while eating some tortitelli.    Went back home had a 2 hour catnap and then went clubbing at the ridiculous time of 2am!  So bizzare.  The blizzard turned most people away but the hard cores went out.  Saloon and Pravda are the clubs worth mentioning.  Oh Iceland is ridiculously expensive by the way. $15 a drink!  So I took it easy.  Sunday – took off to gulfoss and geysers.  Awesome to say the least.  It snowed!  So cool.  Had a whole day of sightseeing and by the time I got home I was knackered.  Had another catnap then Oliver came up and asked if I wanted to have Jacuzzi at 11pm in the hail!  I thought FOR SURE!  Unreal having a spa in winter.  Heads cold but sooo warm.  Mon – Continued  the idea of swimming in winter by going to the Blue Lagoon.  Amazing place!  Thermal warm pools and just unbelievable.  Met this Mexican dude, Ramin, who was on his way to New York after the swim also.  We headed to the airport where I met a New Yorker, Jennifer.  She was a really cool chick who ended up directing me all the way to my hotel!  Very nice indeed.  So she took me to a thai restaurant but I insisted I pay to repay her for her efforts.  Staying at the Chelsea Star Hotel at the moment.  Very expensive for a small room.  The double bed just fits in.  Today (tues) – did the Hop on Hop off tour (they are everywhere!, syd, London, reykjavyk, NY).  Saw Liberty and all the other sites.  I’ll pick out a few of the main ones and go into them through the week.  Anyway that’s the latest.  I might be going to some model party tonight (Victoria Secret models even) as Jennifer has some friends in ‘high places’.  I’ll let you know how it goes…
