I managed to see more than 40 performances (pity the festival has got more commercial and the tickets are more expensive and there aren't many free tickets available). I saw only 1 or 2 good things. To be honest I realise how difficult it is to produce really good drama. I understand how much easier it is to produce agood effect with a book, because the readers imagination does all the work.

Phelim Mcdermott's ..70 Hill St ..was one of the most magical pieces of theatre I have ever seen. Look out for The Improbable Theatre Company

The other highlights were definitely the street performers

lookout for The California Faultzone Theatre ...despite the pathetic standard of writing in Hollywood scripts there are some brilliant writers David Ives..producing such enlightening works as In a Philadelphia and All In the Timing
