Diana car is
forced into tunnel, says report
THE official report into the crash that killed Diana, Prince of Wales will produce evidence that the accident was caused by a pursuing paparazzi motorcyclist who block the exit road before the tunnel. Several witnesses said they see at least one motorcycle close to the Princess's car as it approached the Paris tunnel. |

Once in the tunnel, Paul lose control of the vehicle and struck one of the tunnel's pillars, kiling himself, the Princess and Dodi Fayed.
One witnesses, Thierry H, said __ police that he was overtaken on the approach to the tunnel by the fast-moving Mercedes with a motorcycle carrying two person immediately behind it. He said he saw the Mercedes "weaving" from left to right near the motorcycle. "He was still in the left-hand lane and could see the motorcycle alongside him on the right." Other witnesses have supported Thierry H's account. According to Jacques Morel, there was a subsequent altercation _______ a man in the tunnel and one of the photographers. "Why did you do that?" the man asked. A policeman among the first on the scene also insists that he heared someone say to a photographer: "It's your fault!"
The paparazzi have said that they
are at least
several hundred metres behind the Mercedes at the time of the crash. But
one was on a motorcycle capable of matching the speed of the two-ton Mercedes
S280.
Mr Nibodeau's report also said
that Paul might have puted
the car in neutral moments befor
the final impact, contributing to it's loss of control.
