Situated in the "laid back" South West part of Australia 220Km south of Perth Nannup is a small town in the centre of the timber industry, nestled on the Blackwood River. Activities include country walks and relaxing.

The Black Cockatoo is a rustic logger's cabin centrally located in peaceful Nannup. We invite you to come and enjoy the fabulous South West forests with us.

We are interested in sharing ideas and skills in sustainable in sustainable living, permaculture and life stories.

Overnight stays are $12 ,family and weekly rates are negotiable or "Eco-stay" with us from $30 a week.
