It failed to deal with the fundamentals :the media doesn't give us a true pictureof the world. Can we do something about it ? What ?

But it was good to see that so many peopled seemed to care about the state of our media even if the fundamentals weren't addressed.

Saw some interesting speakers about, culture jamming, using comedy using PR

I was particularly impressed by Raymond Hoser website and his grand conspiracy theory .. He was very convincing .. The upshot being that even in Melbourne there is a dark side to the authorities, they are more interested in covering up corruption than free speech, and sorting it out
