To all parents, caregivers and swimmers.

 

Christmas Break-up This has been booked for Saturday 9th December at the TSB Pool from 6.00pm. It will consist of a potluck tea and BBQ for members and their families. Please bring meat to BBQ, salads, and desserts as well as plates and cutlery for your family. The club will supply sausages. Don’t forget your togs.

 

Stratford Christmas Parade. We wish to enter a float in the parade on Friday 15th December. The theme is “Christmas’s of the World”. If you have any ideas please let a committee member know.

 

Christmas Break. The last club night for the year will be Wednesday 13th December. Club nights for 2001 will commence on Wednesday 31st January.

 

Taranaki Champs. Stratford is rostered as the duty club on Sunday 28th January at Hawera. If your child is swimming, please be prepared to assist with setting up, feeding the officials and cleaning up at the end. We request a plate of food from each family for the officials.

The flyer for Taranaki Champs will be on display shortly. It is important that entries are made early so that the carnival secretary is not busy over the Christmas- New Year period with late entries.

 

Junior Nationals Coaching. Taranaki Swim Centre intend to run a number of sessions for swimmers who have qualified or are close to qualifying for Juniors. The first day will be held on Sunday 10th December, the venue is yet to be decided.

 

3 Way Meet. This event between Stratford, Hawera and Opunake will be held on Wednesday 7th February 2001.

 

Turnbull Cup.  Held between the Central Taranaki Primary schools on Monday 26th February.
