Science Department:
Completed successful transition between outgoing Chief Science Officer,
LtCmdr. Tom Schulte and incoming CSO. Sincere thanks to LtComdr.
Schulte for his leadership and "laying of the groundwork" for the USS Saint
George Science Department this past year.

Monitored the lists and responded to any and all cries for scientific
help. Advised XO in resolution of computer problem.

Established dialog with Assistant Science Officer Tom Ingalls.
Telepathically communicated with Mr. I to conceptualize science department.

Engaged in several spirited conversations with self concerning the
future role of science officer on board the USS Saint George.

Posted "Anniversary of July 20, 1969 Apollo XI Moonwalk" announcement.

Wrote Vol I, Issue 1 of ***Scientifically Speaking***. Temporarily
being held in suspended animation.

Respectively submitted,

CPO Jay Pechman

Engineering Department:

Engineering remains quiet. All engine test are proceeding as planned.

(SIDE NOTE) Still wondering if anyone will want to transfer into
engineering
to help me. It is hard to calibrate the engines by yourself. the
Exocomps
are really overworked, will have to give them some time off this month
to
recoup.

On the lighter side. during off duty hours I competed in my first
Mechwarrior DARk AGE Campaign and walked away with a second place win
out of
five players and the won the "fellowship" or sportsman award.
