I just wanted to write you a few lines
To let you know, I am doing just fine
Everything here is really great
You wouldn't believe the Pearly Gates
You know I wasn't ready to leave you
And I really miss you too
But Jesus came, held out his hand
And said " Come live in my Heavenly Land"
He didn't have to beg or insist
His loving hand I couldn't resist
We flew above the earth and stars
I had never been away from you so far
I looked back, could see you crying
But.... I had to keep on flying
This is such a wonderful place
God walks through Heaven, with such grace
The angels sing such beautiful songs
And nothing, nothing ever goes wrong
I know you hurt, I know you ache
It hurts me too, your heartbreak
Jesus has promised we will be together
Someday and live happily ever after
So be strong , my dear mother
I love you like no other
Jesus and I will meet you hand in hand
When you come to live in this Heavenly Land
Love always and forever
