intro, act 1, scene 3 i was born in the lovely (ok, that's a stretch) city of green bay, wisconsin, on january 6, 1981...the daughter of randall and teresa. i was quite a healthy baby, considering that my mother consumed a pint of baskin robbins' mint chocolate chip every day while she was pregnant with me (technically, my head should be been green or something.) they looked at me, saw what an absolute beauty they had just bore, they named me "kristina marie", which, if translated in to greek, means "gorgeous blonde goddess of love". kidding. in all seriousness, my mom really chose the name kristina after she saw the hillarious-but-now-extinct show "three's company". they knew that if they were to have a boy, they were to name him jessy, so my mom thought that the character "chrissy" on the show sounded good with "jessy" (never mind how the name sounds on it's OWN!). so, technically speaking, a blonde airhead gave my mother the inspiration to name me kristina...and to call me "krissy" for short. and YES, folks...they still call me that today, just in case you're wondering. in the family rank, i'm second last. i have a younger brother named jessy (i don't think my parents would have stopped until my dad got his boy!), and two older sisters--april and angel. jessy: jessy is a cutey-patootey, if you can see past his tommy hilfiger clothing (all that red and blue can be blinding sometimes!) his hobbies include racking up numerous fines (kidding, bud), driving his camero AND his truck, listening to loud-rap-with-thumping-bass-while-his-sister-is-trying-to-sleep (wait, i don't live at home anymore!), hanging with his girlfriend nicole, and playing playstation with tim. angel: angel currently lives in madison, she has 87 jobs (well--maybe only 3), a purple geo that you CANNOT SIT UP IN (trust me, i sat in the back all the way to six flags in that monster and i had a crick in my neck), and lots of good smelling perfume. if there's one thing about angel, it's that she always smells good. oh, and she's pretty crazy. april: april and i were like two peas in a pod growing up...we'd always sneak SNL on my old black and white when we were little (sorry, mom and dad!) she's the lead singer in a band called "slick monkey", and they're bomb! (check out their website on my link page) she's the oldest of the clan, and can really hold her liquor. but anyway. a day in the life... my life is pretty boring. i get up, go to work, come home, watch the simpsons (tim tapes them for me - how great is he?), go to bed. it's not all that exciting. shout to the lord... both tim and i are christians, but came to know god in very different ways. tim was raised in the church and his parents taught him from the beginning that jesus christ is lord. he went to christian schooling, the whole shabang. i, however, was raised jehovah's witness. i left that when i was 15, and started seeking other religions. i looked at everything. finally i came to the conclusion (the RIGHT one) that jesus was the answer. i was baptized on july 18, 1997, at a christian camp in wisconsin, and i'll never go back. i'm always willing to talk about my faith, so if you ever want to talk, don't hesitate. so? i live in grand rapids, michigan. my husband attends calvin college and i work at an insurance company. it's horribly stressful, but the money is nice. i don't know if we'll be here next year. looks... i am not going to bother describing what i look like (i've already used the words "gorgeous" and "blonde" on this page...don't want to sound repetative... :) ).
