Who wants some chocolate?
I was not kidding when I said a ton. Am eating in moderation and have yet to experience a sugar rush.
Seems like most ALL of the people we knew back then hardly care
anymore. This includes any relatives on my father's side and Filipina friends of
my mom. If it was not for a friend of my brother whose whole family moved from
Pililla to London, they'd both be back home now.
This is exactly why I did not want to go there first. It's starting from scratch with just a plain piece of paper with no pencil.
On the positive side, job opportunities are excellent and pay is reasonably good. Forget for a second that a pound is equivalent to a hundred pesos.
While waiting last night, I took a shot of the moon as a jet was passing by.
Wanted to take more pictures but there was hardly anything worth taking a shot of as it was dark and my camera is not spectacular at great distances.
The receiving area of NAIA looks real crappy. No wonder Claire Danes exclaimed "Manila is such a ghastly place." The sight of the airport along makes you wonder if they renovated at all. If I could only remember how it looked when I first arrived in the country, I bet I would say "It hasn't changed at all."
And don't say that our wonderful government is not doing a thing about it. We have the Centennial Terminal which is exclusive to PAL, a dumb idea as they hardly go anywhere. The government also built new terminals (NAIA 2, 3 or 4?) years back but have yet to open it to the public. It's quite a sight, here's an acceptable terminal which at the least, won't make us be ashamed of the country but there it is with grass and weed growing all over the place. I believe they are waiting for the old NAIA terminal to crumble to the ground first.
This is pointless. At the time I am writing up this entry, there is no Internet connection at home as my sister-in-law used up all the prepaid cards. Thinking of applying for an unlimited account. Is the Pacific Unlimited account any good? The Tri-isys unlimited account was more than crap.

This is insane. I have now been up for 37 hours straight. No projects needed to be finished. No deadlines to meet. No exams to study for. Just 37 hours of opting not to sleep.
The last entry I made mentioned problems sleeping. A few hours later I found out it was 3 in the morning already. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to go to work with no sleep at all.
The day at work was not so tiring as compared to some days were I actually had a decent amount of sleep.
Team GA after work. Grilled foods galore once again minus the beer. Let's not forget about the pictures which I still have to upload.
Walked around Eastwood Mall looking for a dream catcher, sadly, to no avail. No Einstein's Dream either. A few DVDs I want in stock, but I needed to stop excessive spending especially on things I only buy for deleted scenes.
By 8 in the evening, headed to the airport to pick up mom and a ton of chocolates.
Arrived home slightly before 12 midnight. Watch Raikkonen win the Belgium Grand Prix. Bounced around eating some chocolates along the way.
At 3:34 in the morning, and 37 hours without sleep, my eyes are starting to itch again.
I feel sore eyes coming back for seconds.

It's one in the morning yet I am still awake. I need to wake up by 3 as I am
going to work later on. Shit. I know I need to sleep but I simply can't.
This shit happens when you stay up until 6 in the morning yesterday and sleep
until 2 in the afternoon.
This shit always happens during the first day of the work week.
I really need a little amount of sleep so am gonna have another crack at it.

I miss this. Staying up until the sun rises outside and only thinking about
sleeping when you notice that it is morning already.
Was typing this entry on the usual template I use for my website. Realized later
that I can't post this on my website as some teammates at work actually read
this stuff and may find out that am staying up all night when I should have been
resting my eyes.
So there. I decided to open lj and start typing away.
I think I'd be going to work on Sunday. The medical certificate I got states I
am incapacitated from work for 3-4 days (which is until today), but the
inclusive dates state August 25-29, which is 5 days.
What happened was the doctor wrote everything correctly, 3-4 days from August
25-28. Then I asked him when I could go back to work to which he replied,
"Monday." and scribbled a "9" over the "8".
It's not like I have a mark for being a liar at work, but I have been fortunate
enough to have a break due to sore eyes which kind of makes me guilty about the
whole thing.
Anyway, in order to avoid further questions and problems which may arise, I'd
simply go to work. If we have the same schedule for the week, day-offs would be
on Monday and Tuesday.
Finally, this sluggish dialup connection has finished downloading MP3s from
Fantasy Reborn, piano renditions from
Final Fantasy games.

How can you expect me to wear contacts when I can't even use eye drops properly.
These eye drops are quite expensive yet I am wasting them by dropping them on either my eyelids or eyelashes. I can say that I am getting a bit better at it.
I should not tire myself too much.
There. I have finally uploaded pics from Friday's gig.

Feeling better at this point but have yet to report for work.
Woke up yesterday with plans of going to work but noticed my left eye still being a bit red-ish with a little itch. Was informed by work that if it was sore eyes I need not show up at work as long as I have a medical certificate from a medicare accredited doctor when I get back which is only fair.
Later in the afternoon, I decided to drop by the nearby hospital and check if I could get the certificate. I could hardly believe that I was home in less than an hour after I left, with a valid medical certificate in hand stating I need not go to work until Sunday or Monday.
Quite timely I might say, as the strongest typhoons do not excuse us from work, which in my case would be hell considering the distance I have to travel each day.
It is quite boring though. Finished what was left of the Full Metal Alchemist CDs I bought. No new PS2 titles to play. There is Doom 3 and Starwars: KOTOR on the PC but my sister-in-law is using the PC most of the time chatting with my brother. The DVDs I want to watch again are all Region I and won't work on my PS2.
See. Life at home is pretty much boring. If only Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time for the PS2 came out two weeks earlier, then I'd be rejoicing these days.
It seems that there was no problem at PLDT Vibe after all. Apparently, my sister-in-law called to check what is happening and she was informed that we have reached the 2000 peso limit allotted. Now that's something. I for one have not done that even when I was playing the RO during the beta period.
Gack! It's like paying for DSL. Damn. If it was, I wouldn't feel too bad paying that kind of amount.
Due to the shitty connection, I had to resort to prepaid cards which offer free hours from 12 midnight to 7 in the morning. The catch, you have to sign-up first for an account at their website. Used up a card thinking it was used during the free hours but when checked, was not actually free.
As a result, I have yet to upload pics from the Typecast album launch, not that anyone cares anyway.

I feel so sick.
My left eye is blood red and irritated and my right is starting to itch a bit. I feel something in my throat whenever I swallow. One of my molars is quite painful and overall, my body seems to be harboring a fever. Perfect.
Luckily, it is my day-off today and tomorrow. After going back to work yesterday after two days off, a sudden change in schedules gave us another two days off for this week. I don't know how long this would last but workdays are now from Wednesday to Sunday.
If fortunate enough this would continue on until the first week of September as I have leaves allotted to September 4 and 5. By the way, that's on a Saturday and Sunday, which means a 4-day break if ever.
Sadly, due to the sore eyes I am not able to fully utilize the day-offs. It just hit me that everything that could possibly entertain me involves the use of eyes. Videogames, net surfing, TV, movies, books. As a result, I slept pretty early last night, around 10 in the evening and woke up around 10 this morning. I normally watch movies the night before the day-off, but I decided I was too tired to watch one. Don't get me wrong, with the state I was in last night I was still seriously thinking about it.
This day was different though. I spent most of the day watching Full Metal Alchemist. Am so freaking in love with the series.
Initially I bought the first 24 episodes out of impulse, thinking that it was complete. I found out last week that I was wrong. Of course, I wanted more so despite my bloody eye I dropped by Sta Lucia to ask if they had more episodes. I was able to get a hold of episodes 25-44. I doubt it's finished yet as I think the series is still ongoing, but it's enough to satisfy my addiction.
Every two episodes, I tend to do something else like bathe, eat, and watch TV. As I was flipping through the channels, I stumbled across Cowboy Bebop being aired on Channel 7. I'd say it's about time.

Yesterday marks the third time have been late for work within a month. I woke up to the sounds of the alarm but decided to extended for another five minutes knowing that a reminder on the phone would sound off 15 minutes later. Unfortunately, it had been on silent mode. Woke up around 4:40 in the morning and immediately came to my senses and knew I was fucked. Quickly showered, called the driver and rushed to work. Almost made it to work, as I was at ground level when the clocks turned 6 in the morning, but 4 minutes were burned up waiting for the elevator. Damn, it was so close.
This means another CITE form is coming up, this time for tardiness. Two in a month after being clean for a whole year. The previous CITE form has now turned into a CARE form which means any excuse I placed in the CITE did not get cleared.
The CARE form also came with a nice 3-day suspension which would happen sometime in September. Unfortunately, suspension means no money. Could be a good reason for yada-yada but I have to clarify something first before it becomes the perfect reason for yada-yada.
It's amusing how an almost perfect attendance record turns into a mediocre record overnight.
Speaking of money, it sucks when you realize that all the money you saved before had been suddenly depleted. It's not that you spend it on things but when people borrow it. Of course, you can't say no to them.
Now, I don't even have enough money to buy a one-way ticket out of this country. I'd probably be stuck here until next year. Well, I don't think I ready either. I don't think I'll ever be.
Anyway, let's keep on spending and enjoying ourselves.
I totally love the new pair of shoes I bought a few weeks ago. They happen to be the smallest and lightest pair I have ever had. They also come with an extra pair of blue laces which I have yet to use.
Notice a lot of light colors, which means I am so freaking conscious when I am in jeepneys as everyone seems to scrape their shoes on my shoes. So far, I have been tremendously lucky. **Knocks on wood.**
Despite rushing to work yesterday, I unknowingly dressed up in a fashionable way. It happens that the shirt I wore had the same basic colors as my shoes and coupled with the faded pair of jeans simply looked great. It had been the first time since time immemorial were someone complimented me for what I was wearing.
I want to take a picture of the shirt but it is currently in the laundry.
It's time to spend the day-off wisely. I believe I've had a pretty decent amount of sleep and now for some more fun. Typecast album launch later on at Freedom Bar but will catch a movie before it. Since I have already seen AvP, will be seeing The Stepford Wives later on.

I forgot how long it takes to format my MP3 player as it is taking quite sometime now. For at least a month, homegrown music has been playing repeatedly on it.
Last time I checked, it was simply a small folder where local artists MP3s go to. Now, it's a whopping 1.47GB quite a hefty number if you'd consider that I have a number of CDs I have to rip.
As it is formatting, I am thinking of what MP3s I'd be transferring. I'm missing "screamo" bands so I guess I'll start with that. Thursday, Finch, The Used, Glassjaw and more Thursday.
Transferring 250MB worth of songs takes quite time in itself, and I'd probably spend another 30 minutes on this.
Bah. Watched 6 episodes of Full Metal Alchemist and love it. Now I can't wait to watch more.
I am finally feeling how USB 1.1 is so bloody slow.
Ooooppppsss.
It came up with a message, "Unable to complete format." Stupid mean forgot to replace the batteries.

A lot of things are happening at home, and because of this I woke up pretty early this morning, around 8. Early, since I slept close to 5 in the morning.
As a result, am quite sleepy now.
Of course, I would not let the day go by without blogging and reading my daily dose of webcomics.
Mitch Clem of Nothing Nice 2 Say has finally drawn what seems to be the last comic. It has been the first webcomic I ever read and the links I found through it built up the current list of webcomics I frequent. It is a punk webcomic, and has a lot of references you can really relate to. Just a warning though, this guy hates EMO, but nonetheless created one of the best webcomics I have read. He has so far moved on to new projects.
The creator of No Pants Tuesday is finally back with a new comic, Joe and Monkey. It has yet to get as interesting as his first work, but is shaping up pretty good.
Of course, the favorite webcomics I frequent are related to videogames, these are Penny Arcade, Ctrl+Alt+Del Online, PVP Online, and Machall.
Penny Arcade is now beyond being a simple webcomic, as it has evolved into a community so big that game developers such as Microsoft will showcase their new games in the upcoming PA Expo. You can also look back at Child's Play, a charity event they did last Christmas which was able to generate 20,000+ U.S. dollars and a truckload of toys (including videogames of course), for a children's hospital in the US.
This they did at a time when the media and US senate were zeroing in on violence in videogames. The reactions they got from this clearly showed that videogamers are not natural-born or trained killers, but quite the opposite. A journalist who previously stated in his editorial that videogamers are heartless killers, quickly had a change of heart and even wrote a public apology about the matter.
Ctrl+Alt+Del is fairly new, slightly more than a year I guess, but has a fan base that grew exponentially. This comic captures the realities of videogaming and the stories used actually relate to real life, which is all good.
PVP Online is an old comic which has been around since 1999, has quite a following but is not as big as Penny Arcade. This does not mean it isn't any good as it is one great comic and makes you wonder how the creator is able to create a comic for everyday.
Machall is a smaller webcomic, but the art of this webcomic is in by no means, small. One just has to look at the coloring and sketches to be amazed. This is also the first place I heard about Ragnarok Online, a year before it was released locally.
We have favorite webcomics for music and videogames, of course there are also a few for movies, which as you know is one of my favorite pasttimes.
Theater Hopper is one of them, and is the first webcomic I visit. Another is Instant Classic, which actually has a plot and a great story. The thing is, with webcomics are offered per instance. A specific joke about a topic per comic. Rarely is there any continuity at all. Sadly, two of my picks for movie webcomics have closed shop a long time ago, Movie Punks and Movie Comics.
There are millions of webcomics on the Internet, and what brought me close to these guys is how close they actually are in real life. During expos and conventions, they'd usually share booths together, etc. Now and then you'd get great crossovers, mixing characters of two webcomics in a special series of comics.
A long post about webcomics I frequent, but I doubt the words I have used to describe any of them bring any justice to the talents of these people.
Arrgghh. Now I feel so bad about not having a talent capable of at least drawing something more than a stick figure.
I hate SM Megamall's cinemas. The selection of stores is very much top-notch, you could go into this mall with something you want in mind, and you'll have it in your hand as you're leaving. The theaters leave much to be desired though. It is TOO enormous, the floors are so goddamn sticky, and the seats are so freaking uncomfortable. You can hardly survive one movie, much more if you have plans of a movie marathon.
So why would I even bother watching here? I had to pay some bills, and the easiest way I know is through malls. Was sure Eastwood had none and was unsure if RP Metro East had one, so just to be sure, Megamall it is. Unluckily, I arrived 15 minutes late, the bill payment booth has a cut-off time of 7 pm. Simply perfect. I am now stuck in this mall, and this was the only time I could watch movies. Decided to watch Sylvia and The Village.
Am not much of a poet but I loved the movie Sylvia. Again, it is one of those movies you should watch with a fresh mind, and not one that has been drained by work for a whole week. This is probably the one other reason I chose to watch in Megamall.
The Village is M. Night Shymalan's best attempt to duplicate the ingenuity and subsequent success of The Sixth Sense. Unbreakable was terribly disappointing and Signs was hoohum boring. Everyone expected a twist, which is always present in his movies, but I think the twist came a little too early. There is also a moment where he tried to twist the twist, but this straightened out a few minutes after. Unlike the shocking twist of The Sixth Sense, this film left much to be desired, as at the main twist was delivered half-way through the movie. Oh, and Shymalan made an appearance in this film, but hardly showed his face save for a blurred reflection. I was actually giggling the whole time, I just found it amusing.
The movie is still great, but is still overshadowed by The Sixth Sense. This movie would have been perceived better if Sixth Sense never existed. Then again, that would not be possible. One thing leads to another.
I think M. Night Shymalan is trying too hard, and I would not blame him for that. This usually happens when the first full length film you wrote and directed receives phenomenal success. The two year break between Signs (2002) and The Village (2004) seemed to have helped. Give it a rest and come back like how Quentin Tarantino did.

Great. I was late again for work today. This time, I was around 10 minutes late. Seems that Extremely Stupid Drivers are are not that rare.
This is just perfect.
Now, if I'd be late again, even for a minute, for the rest of the quarter (July to September), I am going to get another CITE form for tardiness. Yes, I cannot be late in a span of two months. Freaky.
Time for immediate and drastic action plans. Adjusting all timepieces by 10 minutes in advance. Buy new batteries for the alarm clock. Get a freaking myna bird to screech the hell out by 3 in the morning. Pecking not required but would be great.
I doubt that would be enough, so let's throw in a couple more. Go straight home, which means no movies after the shift (very unlikely). As much as possible, do not stay up past 11 in the evening. For rare instances were I'd get home by 1 or 2 in the morning, sleeping is not an option. I go farther with no sleep.

There is always a first for pretty much everything.
After slightly more than a year, I finally got a CITE form at work. What could have been a flawless record is now tainted due to that incident last Thursday. The first one got away as authorized, but the second did not push, and was therefore unauthorized. What do you expect if you woke up at 6:29 in the morning when work clearly starts at 6 in the morning.
It is just a notice though, and I still have time to explain myself before it becomes a permanent taint on my record. The hard thing though is how to explain what happened. I hate making excuses and blaming one thing for the other. I'd rather accept that I was wrong and move on, but is not an option at this point. I have to get cleared.
A now one with the crowd, as no one gets through work without getting a CITE form at least once.

Last night was great. Saw some livejournal friends, but sadly did not have the chance to meet them. Shyness. Hah! Still their fruitsy (did I spell it right?) pics were able to find their way on my digicam.
It was slightly past 4 in the morning when I reached home, but I did not sleep. While undressing and washing up, I was also installingDoom 3 for the PC. Tried to play a little of it, but I simply could not resist not sleeping. Besides, the sun was already creeping out, a clear cut indication of much needed sleep.
Slept until 12 noon, had lunch and played a few minutes of Doom 3.
Yes, you read it correct. Minutes. Damn.
This game is scary, creepy and dark. It is also gory, grotesque and bloody. I don't know if it's my stupid monitor being too dark (the brightness and contrast levels are already maxed), or the game was designed this way. I have to say that it is too dark for my tastes. There is a flash light available, but you can't hold it while holding a gun. This sucks the most when in the darkest of places, you are almost shooting blindly.
Forget the fact that my PC specifications are the minimum requirements, this game still plays smoothly on my system. Am currently in the process of downloading the latest beta drivers from ATI as well as the latest version of DirectX, in order to extract the most juice possible. It is almost a sin not to play this game with at least medium graphical enhancements turned on.
Training and knowledge with Resident Evil and other FPS games did not help as head shots don't help here. The bodies will still come for you even after blowing their heads clean off.
I am not a big fan of First-Person Shooters (FPS) (say CounterStrike anyone?), but I do play a select number at home. Some of which I loved are Medal of Honor and FarCry, of course I also played Doom, Doom II, Heretic, and Quake on my old Pentium-S computer.
I think am gonna cheat my way through the game, it's too scary.
Yesterday also happened to be movie day, was with someone so I didn't have the liberty of choosing what to watch. Ended up seeing Dead People and Catwoman. Yes, despite all the things I have said about avoiding it like the plague it is, I finally threw all sense of reason out the window and sat down to watch the film.
I don't know what to say about Catwoman, so let's say something else then. There are rumors over the net about a certain X-men not coming back for the next X-movie. Word has it that it is Halle Berry and it is mainly due to Catwoman. Don't tell me they'd be building a franchise out of this crap. Not that Halle Berry was entirely fascinating in X-men, but it would suck to see someone else play the role in what seems to be the last X-men movie.
As for Dead People, it ain't a bloody English movie as one of the movie goers in front exclaimed, it is from New Zealand, okay mate? With that said, I have nothing else to say about the film.
Wanted to watch Collateral but the time schedule was not convenient for us. Another movie added to the list for this week.
BTW, pictures have already been uploaded.

Signs of a Failing Relationship
For two Fridays in a row, I have waken up significantly late and have gone on half-days at work. Add to that being roughly 10 minutes late last Monday. We are only allowed to be late for three instances in a quarter and not more than two in a month, which basically means, I am at the limit.
Monday was different as I left home at the same time I have always been leaving when work starts at six. This is what you call being unexpectedly late.
On a regular day, I'd be 20-30 minutes early. For stupid drivers (SD), I'd be more or less, 10 minutes early, just enough time to breath. Over the past year, this has been proven as a fact.
Apparently, I forgot to include EXTREMELY stupid drivers (ESD), those who pick up every passenger on the road even if it is already overflowing AND those who pass through roads known very much for their notoriety (traffic, pot holes, 5-second stoplights, volume, etc.).
I can easily bring our van to work, but that would mean additional expenses as my house ain't really close. Add the sky high parking rates at Eastwood and I'd be shelling out almost a third of my salary for this. Not a good idea.
I forgot one other tiny detail about that idea, I can't drive.
What happened the last two Fridays may well be caused by fatigue, or signs of. Could also be signs of some downward spiral, but I hope not.
Despite crossing out pretty much all of the items on the list I made a year ago, there are still a ton of things I want to buy, clothes mainly.
Yes! After a year of work, I have barely built up an exhaustive wardrobe selection. Am not much of a fashionista, and the jeans and slacks I have are suffice.
This does not mean that nothing changed at all, I used to be a guy who always wore t-shirts, but due to work, I had to buy more shirts with collars on them. Thankfully, work does not require business attire, as long as it had a collar, it was good enough, so most of them are quite casual and fit jeans and sneakers quite well.
When we went out for dinner two weeks ago, our college prof even pointed this out, exclaiming that the only thing different about me was the collar.
So technically, aside from shirts, I have not bought any item of clothing. This does not include my MP3 player which I do wear EVERYDAY, as it is not an item of clothing per se.
Anyway, such a long introduction for such a little thing. I finally bought myself a pair of shoes, mainly because my 3-year old pair was literally falling apart.
As I had to go to a mall which would give me a larger selection of stores with an assurance that I'd leave the place with a pair, I had to drop by Megamall. This means I had to watch a movie in the same mall, which is not really a big deal. It may be my least liked Cineplex due to the sheer size of it, but it is still reasonable in extreme instances.
There was a German Film Festival ongoing but I had to buy a pair of shoes so I skipped it. I also had my sights on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, another ingeniously weird movie from Charlie Kaufman. Like Being John Malkovich and Adaptation, I enjoyed this film very much.

I guess you have already heard it elsewhere, but the latest and last installment of the Star Wars Saga now has a title, aptly called Revenge of the Sith. I for one think the title is awesome, almost akin to the title of the third part of the sequel trilogy, Return of the Jedi. A title which even fan boys approve off, as it got a 90+% approval rating on their website. The title itself is leaps and bounds better than the measly named Attack of the Clones. Hopefully it would be incrementally better than the first to parts of the prequel trilogy.
Nothing special at work, just the same routine day-in and day-out.
3 months ago, I filed for leaves for July and August. I hit the jackpot back in July as all 4 days fell on a work week. This time around, only one out of three would be counted. Filed for leaves on the 6th, 7th, and 8th which is Friday to Sunday. I had a reason why I picked those dates, Admit One. Now I can finally watch Admit One again and not worry about preparing for work the very next day. This calls for some mindless drinking. Some.
As for movies, new releases are Garfield and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Am particularly interested in the latter as I have already seen Garfield on video and have no plans of seeing it again in the theater. Sadly, the best cinema nearby that has Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is Robinson's Metro East. Well, sad is such an extreme word, Metro East is still my second favorite movie theater next to Eastwood.
For some reason, despite the paltry ticket sales of Catwoman in the US, Eastwood Cinemas still has two theaters dedicated to the film, which is currently on it's second week here. I can't imagine people watching that flick. I am avoiding the film as much as possible, though I would watch in on video sometime in the future when a copy is lying around and just out of curiosity which would probably kill. (Lousy use of a pun, but intended nonetheless.)

I forgot one teeny-weeny thing uploading all of those pictures on geocities. One simple thing such as bandwidth.
A teammate at work told me that my site was inaccessible. When I looked over at his monitor I laughed. I have never reached the bandwidth limit with this site, but the page is all too familiar to me because of this site.
Accessed the site a few minutes later, and was successfully able to do so. Seems like the clock just reset and I thought right there that it refreshed due to a new day. Now I realize that I may not reset daily but monthly rather. If so, am fucked. But there is always a workaround though time consuming will be worthwhile in the long run.
No. I am not talking about upgrading. No way. Am talking about changing the links of the pictures to reflect a different website. This means a whole lot of uploading again.
Had this unusual experience while eating donuts at Ever Gotesco. The store was not packed but had only a number of seats. This American fellow gladly shared his seat with me, something I have never done in the past. He introduced himself and we talked about the nature of my work. He was amused and claimed he had a Latitude system, stating that he had it for 3 years and it is a GOOD computer. Could hardly contain myself from laughing.
It's amusing how he was trying to converse in Tagalog instead of English, and how I was using English more than Tagalog. I guess he was trying to practice and so I tried to reply back in Tagalog. It seemed really awkward though as I try to use the language based upon who I am talking to. This idea or concept developed at home, Dad=English and Mom=Tagalog.
Anyway, it was a new experience as I have never shared a seat with a complete stranger much more a conversation.
On the way home, I picked up a copy of Spider-man 2 for the PS2. It has been ages since I played any kind of videogame. I have to say that they did an excellent job creating this game. Grand Theft Auto 3 really opened up a whole new world of open ended gameplay. I could spend an entire day swinging around New York, stopping criminals and maintaining peace and order.
I have a whole month to play this game as the next big RPG I am waiting for, Star Ocean: Till the Ends of Time will not be released until the end of the month, August 31.
Speaking of releases, hacked copies of Doom III are available online. Unfortunately, one needs a monster of gaming rig to play the game with ALL the eye-candy. The specs I have (1.7GHz P4, 384 RDRAM, and 128MB video card), are just the MINIMUM requirements, and if you are a PC-gamer you know that nothing works at the minimum requirements.
After almost a month, I was able to talk with my mom. They are doing fairly good over there as compared to hell over here. I was enamored by the fact that my brother, while looking for a job has an allowance provided by the government. Cool. I want to go there already and bum out.
