Utter Disappointment [Saturday, May 31, 2003 @ 12:57 am]
What a day! Woke up at, hmmm, I didn't get any sleep today, except for that short nap I had from 10 am to 1 pm. 3 hours is good enough with me.
The rain still wouldn't stop, but I instead on going to the mall only to be utterly disappointed at everything I expected to do/buy.
The Animatrix VCD/DVD won't be out until June 3. My informant about this Animatrix VCD bought his copy from Greenhills which explains why he got a copy early.
Next, all the stores in Robinson's Place Metro East and Sta. Lucia did not have copies yet on Enter the Matrix, but as a consolation, I got a copy of Kingdom Hearts, which is a crossover between Squaresoft and Disney characters.
Lastly, I expected a new issue of FHM, which was out of stock or not yet delivered to the magazine stand I frequent in Sta. Lucia, I couldn't understand what the saleslady was telling me. As soon as she said that there was no copy, I didn't bother anymore.
Disappointments indeed, but I experienced something today that kind of made up for everything, and I could say, really made up my day, to a certain extent that is. As I was walking in Sta. Lucia, looking for the stuff I want, I saw her. Was quite surprised and shocked, and did not know what to do because when I noticed her she was already very close. (I am near-sighted.) If I moved a yard to my left, we would have bumped in to each other, that's how close we were.
Then I messaged her and asked if she was in Sta. Lucia, and she said yes, and that she didn't notice me because she was thinking about something. Said that I should have called her, maybe we could have talked for a while or something. But the moment I saw her, all logical operation in my brain ceased to function, my heart pounded, and instincts took over. I just walked pass her. When I came back to my senses, it was over. Saying that I should have done something. Anyways, it is somewhat a weird and cool experience. Oh, I really miss her.
Watched Frida which is an excellent movie, everything about it was great, from the cast, the acting, visuals, music, the story, etc. And that said while spending almost 3/4 of my time replying to her messages. Got in a little late, so wasn't able to see some of the opening scenes and the trailers. Didn't bother to wait for the movie to start again as it was so bloody cold inside the theater.
A lot of people were watching "Tanging Ina" which sounds very much like a Filipino cuss word, especially if you'd add "mo" at the end.
Was browsing some VCD's and found that The Guru was already released on video. Another movie that didn't get shown in theaters, like The New Guy. Or maybe I just missed it.
Oh well, that was my day. Pretty interesting. Got another big day coming up later, and I still haven't had much sleep. Brian told me that the barkada was going out tomorrow for dinner, but I have a family affair. Too bad, but I still hope I could go if we'd finish early and if I'd be in the right mood.
Wow. Less than a day and another month wraps up. I'll be creating another archives page for the journal entries of May. Cool.

Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP) [Friday, May 30, 2003 @ 12:01 am]
Hahaha...PHP is quite amazing. Man, the things you could to with it. Entertained me a bit back there, it's really some pretty interesting stuff, to think that I haven't done anything with it yet. Just played around with a few commands for less than an hour due to the sheer joy of doing so. I love it and got to learn more about it.
In the meantime, back to web surfing. Still have to download MySQL as it is needed to fully utilize PHP.
Due to the rain and my cousins dropping by, I wasn't able to go out today. So I still don't have The Animatrix VCD. Will go later instead.
Speaking of cousins, when I was playing a CD of Rage Against the Machine, my youngest cousin, Maolen, who happens to be a 7 year old girl, was singing and "screaming" along with it, jumping around dancing and really making me laugh so hard. It was quite hilarious.
The eldest, is just like me, a videogaming nerd. That's why we get along so well, including staying up till the wee hours of the morning. The thing is, he was playing around with my Final Fantasy X save file, when he encountered this bug/glitch that repeated the game from the middle, but all of my stats where retained and Yuna is still in my party. For those who played FFX, that part involving Home in Bikanel Island, where your party is looking for Yuna. I don't know how long that bug is going to last, still have to play through it though, considering the things you could do with Yuna in your party. The scene involved a part where you fight a monster while onboard the airship, you could use Yuna in the party, but unfortunately, you can't summon any aeons since the game would just hang after it.
Haven't seen any new movies lately, and there's quite a lot out there. We have Jim Carrey's return to comedy with Bruce Almighty, the Oscar nominated film Frida, starring Salma Hayek, and that romance flick How to Lose a Guy in 10 days with Kate Hudson. I don't know what other films are out now, but these are the ones I know are showing this week. I wish I still have my dorm.
The good side of staying at home is having the PS2 and PC, and not to mention TV. I play my rpg's, surf the net, watch animè, anytime I want. Simply put, just bum around doing nothing worthwhile. Übercoolness. But, it is getting boring. Now, if there was only a mall nearby, everything would be perfect. Ack, I forgot something, tons of money too.

PVP Online [Thursday, May 29, 2003 @ 1:03 am]
WOHOO! After what seemed close to an eternity, I've finally finished reading all of the Archives of PVP Online, which dates back to 1998. I think I've been reading that webcomic since January. It was an enjoyable experience. I mean it had videogames, movies, geeky relationships, coffee, a troll, and a whole bunch of cool storylines. But I kind of feel sad now, since I'd have to wait for a day to pass before I could read the next comic. How sad.
Well, atleast I can now move on to reading other webcomics, such as BriWorld, Mall Monkeys, or MegaTokyo. Ah, and maybe start re-reading D-pad, another videogaming comic.
Speaking of webcomics, two of my favorite ones are hardly getting any updates now, Nothing Nice to Say and No Pants Tuesday. It's kinda funny that they both happen to be from Minnesota.
I really wish I had the talent to create my very own webcomic, and the only thing that hinders me from doing so is that I can't draw anything, even if I wanted to, be it the old-fashioned way or the digital way. Webcomics, in a way, gives you the right to blog on about stuff, no matter how personal it maybe, and still expect someone to read it, like what happens to Mitch Clem's Nothing Nice to Say. Unlike what I am doing, heck, I don't even know if anyone ever reads this stuff, I just pretend that I have an actual audience who frequents this so-so site. Now that's one thing am really good at.
Just got IIS (Internet Information Services) to work on this PC. All it needed was a simple restart, and *poof* it worked. Tried my first PHP pages, saw them work, got amused, and can't wait to learn more stuff about it. Plus I learned some new stuff regarding stylesheets that I could certainly put to good use.
Planning on going out tomorrow, since I've heard that The Animatrix is already available on VCD. Don't know if it's also available on DVD, but still. And while am at it, I'd grab a copy of Enter the Matrix for the PS2. It's gonna be a cold six months till The Matrix Revolutions, but it's good that they still left us with something while enduring that long wait.

Wow! My cousin who was staying over and like me, addicted to videogames, was able to be patient enough and acquire the Caladbolg, Tidus' celestial weapon in Final Fantasy X, in a bit more than one hour and thirty minutes. I, on the hand, would never have had the patience to attain such a feat even after breaking controllers and smashing fists on the wall. Thanks, dude.
While he was busy mastering the essentials of maneuvering chocobos through the fields while avoiding birds and acquiring balloons, I was busy talking to myself. I finally filled some stuff into that link I have on the side that spells, M-O-N-O-L-O-G-U-E. It was an interview of sorts, but turned out into an awful realization of certain facets of my life. Click here to check it out. Please. =)

What a day! Was my mom's birthday, had my aunt and cousins come over, who literally ran over the place. Add rain, an over-sized puppy, a dog trainer, and two grannies, and you'd have quite an interesting day indeed.
Oh, and add another viewing of The Matrix Reloaded. Just finished downloading the teaser trailer for The Matrix Revolutions. Watched it, and was truly flabbergasted by it. It wasn't like the one I saw at the end of The Matrix Reloaded. Or maybe, I don't quite remember what teaser trailer I saw cause I was still digesting all that information and special effects wonders from the movie.
Anyways, it completely changed my mind of what I think and have said about what the second movie lacked, specifically more Zion sequences. Well, it has been 2 weeks since the movie was shown, so I'd guess everyone has seen it already. So, what I mean by more Zion sequences are more scenes depicting the war between the machines and the people of Zion, in the Real World, that is. You know that mech-like robot we saw as the Nebuchadnezzar landed on Zion's dock? I guess I'm not alone in saying that I'd like to see it in action. Well, in the teaser trailer, you'd get a glimpse of precisely that.
Plus, after having another rundown with the movie, certain elements became clear, like that guy who wanted to kill Neo and how the Captain of the Hammer explained what happened to their counterattack against the machines. After seeing the movie for the first time, I thought he was talking about how Zion was attacked. My bad. The second viewing got a lot oh "OOHHHH's" and "AAHHHH's" from me.
I suppose I need not say that am really excited about the third installment of The Matrix, right? Well, am still counting down the days till November 25. In the meantime, I must get my hands on Enter the Matrix for the PS2 and that Animatrix DVD/VCD that would be released anytime soon. Yup, bask in the glory that is The Matrix.
Oh, and since I have a PS2 now, I can start purchasing DVD's now for my future collection, and what better way to start it than with a Matrix DVD. It would be great to start with the Limited Edition Fight Club DVD, but it is limited and now real hard to find. The regular Fight Club DVD is so simple, and stripped down, that even though it is a spectacular movie, it kindda makes you think twice if you'd want to start your DVD collection with that. I mean, no deleted scenes, no video commentary, behind-the-scenes, etc. All you get is the movie and a few Audio commentaries. And I've heard that the Limited Edition DVD has an alternate ending, imagine that my friend. So, I'd go settle with The Animatrix as my first DVD purchase for my DVD library. Not bad, right?

Ack! It's been 3 days since I last posted anything on this thing. Not that anyone cares and besides, it's not like I have anything worthwhile to say. Yeah right, when was the last time you said anything worthwhile on this thing? Hmmmm...How about NEVER.
Lately, I've been sleeping like any "normal" person does, which is before 12 midnight, quite an unusual thing for me. The downside is that I hardly get any time to go online with this kind of setup. Sleeping around early morning or mid-morning optimizes my time the most. I get the things I want to do more with that kind of setup.
It's starting to rain these past few days, which is cool since it wouldn't be as hot anymore. This past summer was so bloody hot and annoying in any way. Sure glad it's over.
Saw Final Flight of the Osiris again on GMA 7, even though it was quite annoying due to three or four commercials in between, which clearly killed the excitement of the episode. It was only around 15 minutes long, and was made to be viewed in one seating alone, no commercial breaks. But still, two cheers for GMA 7 for showing it on TV. I of course, have seen it before, since it was shown worldwide at the beginning of the movie Dreamcatcher, which was the main reason I watched it in the cinema. But for some people who had no idea about this, it filled in certain hardly-unnoticeable holes in The Matrix Reloaded. The Osiris was mentioned at the beginning of the movie, its last transmission and the validity of it's information. Oh, and one other thing, the whole episode was computer-generated (CG), and was made by non-other than Square Pictures, which created the CG-movie, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. This explains the jaw-dropping visuals.
Still downloading The Matrix Reloaded Soundtrack. It has new songs from Deftones and Team Sleep, which makes me wonder if it is already available in record bars just because of them.
GMA 7 is doing something that makes me happy. They may be sticking to their repetitive telenovelas, but atleast they are bringing good animè to the Philippine shores. Next week, they'd start showing Ah! My Goddess and Ghost in a Shell. That's something to keep me watching TV.

Ran across this fantabulous site, www.googlism.com, that cross-references your name using Google search results. Pretty amusing way of finding what your name means, as identified by the Google search engine. Just the idea of it is quite entertaining, but you should read the results that it produces.
Googlism for: simon
These are the ones that really left me laughing, wondering, and puzzled. For more of my googlism, click here.
Unfortunately, google has this to say about stingeyes.
"Googlism for: stingeyes
Sorry, Google doesn't know enough about stingeyes yet."
So, it's the 20th of May already. The new Deftones album is finally released, I wonder if that's the case here in the Philippines. Haven't checked any record bars though. Minerva, Deftones' first single from their eponymous new album, has been getting air time at NU107 for a few days now. Am not really sure about this, hardly listen to the radio anymore.
There, at last, it's almost four o'clock, time for my daily dose of animè. Dragonball GT, Shaman King, and Knock Out, nothing totally special about them, just some entertainment away from videogames. Sadly, not away from a radiation-emitting monitor/TV. Well, that's life in the digital age.

I have so many images that I want to use as wallpapers, but of course I can't use them all at once. I wonder if there is a program that shuffles you images and picks a wallpaper for you every time you log-in. Hmmm....That would be cool. Must check on that the next time I'm online.
No gaming news today. Hardly had anytime to surf the net this morning. Haven't even read my daily dose of webcomics. Besides, this ain't a gaming website, had nothing else to talk about, so I just brought it up.
Wow! The Matrix Reloaded made $93.3 million in it's domestic release in the US, and just over the weekend, placing them as the second biggest opening of all time, right behind Spider-Man with $115 million, dislodging Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, who held the 2nd spot with $90.3 million. And that's a hefty task, considering that The Matrix Reloaded had a R-rating, placing them as the No. 1 movie opening for a R-rated film which previously belong to Hannibal at $58 million. R-rated movies in the US requires persons under 17 to be accompanied by an adult, whereas here, it means restricted, any one below, cannot, by any means, enter. Oh, the first opening weekend amounts to what The Matrix made in four weeks. Check this link for more details.
Speaking of The Matrix, I am dying to watch the movie again, you know, to properly digest every facet of it. The problem is I love too far from a decent cinema and add to that, have no money either. I could watch it on VCD but then again, that ain't much fun, especially now that the big TV is busted, again! Pffft! Just gotta make do with what I have.
Am really amused by Taking Back Sunday, just finished downloading the music video for Cute Without The E (Cut From The Team). And man, does it rock. Mainly because it just does, and I totally love the song, but then the scenes came from the movie Fight Club, which happens to be one of my favorite films, maybe even the most favorite one. First time I watched it, I thought they were showing actual clips from the movie, but when I looked at little closer, I realized that it was the band members playing out the scenes! Gonna try and download more of their videos in the future, which is hardly any fun with this blasted dial-up connection, it ain't even 56 Kbps. Bummer, but what could I possibly do, I live in the mountains.
Oh well, it looks that I have to go to Laguna later. Have to pick up my brother who wisely spent all of his money there, and now can't come back home, dragging me into this mess. Was thinking of playing Wild Arms 3 the whole day. But atleast, I'd get to go out for a change, and use my other muscles. Ouch!

Did some more reading about E3 at gameSPY. Focused on Konami and Hideo Kojima this time. Yeah, Konami had quite an impressive booth this year, what with two MGS games, a game that utilizes the power of the sun, a classic 2D game jumping to 3D, another visit to Silent Hill, and a bunch of oldschool gameplay with a bunch of mutated turtles in some cell-shaded goodness. What more could you possibly ask for?!
For MGS, there was Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for the PS2 and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the GCN (Nintendo Gamecube).
MGS: The Twin Snakes is like an improved version of the first MGS, much like Resident Evil 0 for the GCN, and at the same time a 50% sequel like Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Improved graphics and utilization of the new moves introduced in MGS2. Its on the Gamecube, so am not entirely mad about it.
MGS 3: Snake Eater on the other hand, is on the PS2 so am really mad about it, though I have yet to play and finish MGS 2: Sons of Liberty. Snake would now be set in a jungle, eating animals for survival, including snakes, (hence, Snake Eater). Oh, and Snake knows how to climb trees now and could hang from a branch with one hand and crack head shots with his pistol in the other. How cool is that!
Boktai: The Sun is in your Hands is a game for the GBA (GameBoy Advance) that has a little solar panel that affects gameplay. The game involves a lot of vampires and hence, the sun is needed to defeat them.

Ack, I've been typing April on all of the dates for a few posts now. Realized that it's May now, and not April. Being a professional bum has messed up my time clock ever so dearly.
Wow! This year marks the first time I've followed (trying to follow) the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Been visiting gameSpy for my dose of E3 news, and I have a lot of reading to do. I even save the pages on the PC, so I could read them once am offline, and with less distraction from online friends and webcomics. Am pretty much excited with every damn game that is about to be released for the PS2 and the PC, more on the PS2 since one doesn't have to rely on Microsoft's magnificent OS to enjoy those games, but a few PC games really caught my interest.
Upcoming games for the PC which I'd be dying for are The Matrix Online and Evil Genius. No need explaining the first one since we all know what that is, but I'd still add a few details, it's a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) set in the matrix after the third installment of the film. Bullet time and wire fu included. Evil Genius is an evil-empire-building simulator akin to the sims, but here you play like a bad guy from a spy movie, and what's not cool about playing as a bad guy. Of course, what would a spy movie be without the minions, henchmen, secret lair, and weapons of mass destruction. Cool.
For the PS2, we have (inhales)...

Sega's sticking to what they do best, making games. I am still crossing my fingers, hoping that Shenmue and Panzer Dragoon finds its way to the Playstation 2. The recent Square-Enix merger opens a whole new window for game development and advertising, and that would only mean good things for us gamers.
Ah, and that's just a some of the things I've been reading, there's still a whole lot more. Got to keep on reading then.

For those who haven't seen The Matrix Reloaded, be sure to stick around till the end of the credits. There's a nifty li'l teaser for The Matrix Revolutions, which I may say is very much needed. You'll get what I mean by that after you have watched the film.
For those who weren't patient enough to sit around and thus had to bear the crowd going out and using the restrooms, too bad for you, you missed something that would help satisfy any feelings of anxiety about how things turned out, and thus, have to wait to see it when it will be bundled with other trailers.
No big deal about that, it's just a peek of things to expect for the third installment of The Matrix which would be coming to theaters on November 5, 2003.
Saw the trailer for The Last Samurai, starring Tom Cruise. It was amazing, another movie added to the long list of movies am going to wait for and watch this year. It reminded me of Onimusha Warlords. And heck, what is not to like about a Samurai movie? Japanese history triggers my fancy. Also caught the theatrical trailer (not the teaser, it's the final trailer) for LXG -- League of Extraordinary Gentlemen -- and it totally rules. Another movie baased on a popular comic book, and, yes, added on the list.
As for the movie itself, it was downright awesome. The wire fu and bullet-time action sequences were simply astonishing. Total eye-candy goodness. It picks up were Final Flight of The Osiris left, which is cool if you've seen it, but okay if you didn't. Certainly not a requirement. Had a load of new characters which were nice additions. More Zion scenes, though, the part I was expecting they'd show, wasn't included at all. They just talk about it. It would have been grand though. Plus, the movie was too short, figuratively speaking, it was around 2 hours, but I was expecting to see more. Minor complaints, the movie was really great, and I need repeated viewings in order to digest everything. I wish I lived closer to a mall, so I could see it again today, then tomorrow, but then again, I have no money either, so that's that. Missing the glory days of having my room in Manila.
The brilliant thing about this movie is that we'd only have to wait a few months for the third and final installment, due for a release on November 25, 2003. This is definitely better than the 3 year wait for the second installment, and of course, in any way imaginable, better than the 3 year wait for each Starwars episode. Heck, it's even better than the one year wait for the Lord of the Rings movies. But in every way, it's still a long wait and man, am already counting the days.

Oh, this isn't the dance of ones and zeros, okay?
It's time to get reloaded!
Still haven't slept much, am too excited about The Matrix Reloaded, which I am going to catch later on this day. Wow.
Too bad I haven't finished downloading the Final Flight of Osiris. Well, I saw it before, so I guess there's no need to watch it again before going to the cinema later. Might as well get loaded on other stuff, like the four free animatrix episodes, The Matrix Reloaded trailer, and The Matrix. That's more than enough right? And there's still enough time for all of that, and maybe some Silent Hill 2.
Speaking of videogames, E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is currently taking place somewhere in the US. Haven't read much about the latest news, but got a few tidbits of information, such as Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Deus Ex 2, Nokia's N-gage, among others. Checked out gameSPY at the last minute, and had a glance on what was happening at E3. MGS3 had this caption underneath, "Snake's back and Raiden's no where in sight." Cool. Snake is in a whole other league above Raiden, who doesn't even come close. It's good that I have my PS2 now, then again, I have to buy another copy of MGS2, since the one I have hangs at certain points which prevent me from moving further into the game. Same with Devil May Cry and Onimusha 2.
Have read that there would be teaser trailers for LOTR: Return of the King and The Matrix Revolutions to be shown in between the movie. So for those who would be watching the movie, don't leave that seat. Don't even blink. Do I even have to say this, I for one, need not be told about that anymore.
Ta-ta! Am gonna load some vital information in lieu of The Matrix Reloaded.

Things didn't turn out as much as I expected them to, it was my fault anyway. Nonetheless, I feel better about myself these past days. I have no idea why, but am happy that I am, and that's enough. So, no further complaints from me.
Got a not-so-unexpected message from her. Okay, not really unexpected. Well, it ended in quite a sweet but illogical way. The good thing is that I don't feel too bad about it. Am moving on. (Yeah, right!!!)
I used to complain how no one ever remembers me (by means of simple SMS) and now I find myself with hardly any credits left, and that's just 4 days since the last time I loaded. Where am I gonna get the money? Poor me.
Enough of this emo stuff already. Kindda told myself that I'd give this site a new feel, without being to blatantly depressed.
Arrrgggghhhh...I want to write more stuff here, and do some changes to the site, but a day is really too short to do everything. That thing called PS2 is eating up my life, but am just gonna let it be for now, until I decide that I need to get a life already. Whenever that will be. Hopefully, I won't be consumed by then.
Wow. One more day to get reloaded. Cool.
back to top | show me that you care | ARCHIVES | HOME
I've been in this kind of depressed mode for more than just a month, prolly
even more than that, I hardly ever noticed it before. Well, I've just decided to
suck it up and move on. Come on, just look at my life, and I'd say that it's
damn good. Yup, and this is my life without even trying, so imagine how better
it could be if I actually did something in this life, right.
Wow, sudden change of events. Just a week ago, I was thinking of
S.I.P. again, and now am happy. Let's just
say that things have had a bizarre turn for the better, and I have no complaints
about it.
Heard of this new band from Mitch Clem of Nothing Nice 2 Say named The Epoxies, and he said something about marrying the vocalist. So I checked them out, and wow, the vocalist is really something, weird but pretty. Yup, pretty weird. Am still downloading their songs, but I believe in Mitch's choices. Bands like Jets to Brazil and The Weakerthans, bands that am really listening to and loving more, especially Jets to Brazil. Man, they are simply mind-bogglingly wonderful. Oh, and the site's title, Perfecting Loneliness, is the title of one of their songs.

Am counting down the days till The Matrix Reloaded which should be showing in theaters on the 15th. Pretty damn cool, aight? The last free animatrix movie (4th of 4) iis already available for downloading. It's part II of The Second Renaissance, which shows how A.I. took over the world, and how the world in the Matrix came to be. There, let me count again. 1 (The Second Renaissance I), 2(Program), 3(Detective Story), 4(The Second Renaissance II). Check. Final Flight of The Osiris. Check. The Matrix. Check. Wow, am pretty much ready for the movie next week. All I have to do now is watch the first movie over and over to really get into that Matrix mood. Yey.
Speaking of summer movies, I forgot to mention two other big movies this coming summer, Charlie's Angels II: Full Throttle and Pirates of the Caribbean. Ack, forgot the subtitle for Pirates. Bummer.
We all know Charlie's Angels, right? Well, part II is coming and it has more action in it this time. Oh, and Demi Moore is in the movie as an x-angel (x-angel, not x-men).
Pirates of the Caribbean stars Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom (Legolas of LOTR fame). It's a Jerry Bruckheimer film, so expect it to be big. Yup, just add Jerry Bruckheimer to a film and it instantly sells, just like Kangaroo Jack did, but I expect this to be different.
X2: Xmen United, The Matrix Reloaded, Hulk, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Charlie's Angels II: Full Throttle, Pirates of the Caribbean, Bad Boys II.
These are big Hollywood movies, that would really rake in the moola, even though they won't get critically acclaimed reviews and Oscar nominations for Best Picture. You know, seeing a movie for the seer fun of it. A visual and aural experience for the senses. Just sit back and enjoy.
And by the audacity and intensity of the opening of X2, coupled with good reviews, it seems things are really looking good, even for sequels. And again, thanks to piracy for bringing these movies release dates at par with US release dates, usually same release date and on rare occasions, days before the US release, and at most, not more than a few weeks after US release. Unlike before when we'd have to wait months before seeing a movie.

Been a while since I last entered anything in this journal of mine, and a lot has happened since. Let's do a quick recap, I won't go much into the details anymore.
X2: Xmen United -- WOW! This movie was downright great. Everything about the movie rocks. Loved every part of it. Nightcrawler was really a nice addition to the movie and had a great opening sequence. The sight of Colossus brought tears of joy. Plus, they briefly showed Beast, and it sucks because I didn't see it. Wolverine is still fabulous and I think Cyclops really sucks. I'd say it's the best comic book movie I've seen. Can't wait for the next one. Oh, and I just found out about the title, Xmen United, pretty cheesy right, but the movie more than makes up for it. I wanna watch it again, too bad I live in the mountains. In addition to that, Matrix Reloaded is coming next week, May 15.
Baguio -- Now, this was something I was looking forward too. Was a really nice trip, even though it sucked the life out of my butt. Anyways, Baguio is nice and cool, all the time, that is. You could wake up at noon, and still feel like it was 6 in the morning. The ukay ukay was quite fascinating, though I wasn't able to buy anything for myself, too picky. The MTV Lokal gig was enjoyable, but the crowd was pretty dull. The rain sucked, but we were still able to enjoy our stay there, even if it was so brief. Am still munching on some strawberries here.

"Waiting here with hopes the phone will ring and
I'm thinking awful things and I'm pretty sure that
few would notice."
-- Saints and Sailors, Dashboard Confessional
I really dig this song. It's quite perfect. Describes how I feel about certain things. Yes, including that "thinking awful things" part. Actually am, luckily we have this trip to Baguio tomorrow and it would suck if I have these fresh open wounds for that trip coz someone might see it. Yeah, everyone who sees me has no fucking idea how fucked up my life is right now. To think that's it because of one small thing that happens to practically everyone (Yeah, right! But not in the way it has happened.). So am just gonna let this night pass away somehow, and hope that tomorrow would be better. Maybe then, I'd have to cancel my appointment with the scalpel until next week.
Baguio trip tomorrow, pretty much excited. First time to go to Baguio, also the first time out of Region IV. Ubercoolness! Here's hoping for a wonderful Baguio experience, I sure hope this depression does not suck up my mood there. Might as well give it a vacation and ask it to come back on Monday.
Wow. It's May already. It's been like a month since I put this site up. Three cheers for me! (Yey! Yey! Yey!) Not that anyone even cares about this site in the first place.
(Haha...You were actually expecting an audience?? Hahaha...Downright hilarious! I mean, just open your fucking eyes and look around, all one can ever read here is your pathetic whining. Honestly, no one really gives a rat's ass about your fucking life.) So, I have thought of stopping all this whining and actually talk about something interesting, like movies, music, videogames, tech gadgets, etc. Then, since a month has already passed, I could start working on an archive section for all those previous journal entries. You'd never know, someone might be really interested in those horrible stuff.
Am pretending that an actual audience exists. I am that good. Am starting to think that I could pretend that I actually have a girlfriend. Oh, wait! Been there, done that. You actually had one before. =) Besides, I don't think the one you could create would be as good enough as her, so don't even bother going there.
Ack, might as well have dinner now. How I wish I could just forget about eating. Ain't in the mood to eat (much) anymore.
