Note: Pete had just gotten back from a sting and is being introduced to Kaye for the first time.
Oscar is talking to her when Mac and Pete walk up.

Oscar (to Pete): We've been talking about you.
Pete
(in a "I'm the best no wonder they're talking about me" voice):  Well there you go
Mac: The male ego never ceases to amaze me
Pete: What’s wrong with the male ego?
Mac: I'm not allowed to say - secret woman’s business, it's how we stay on top
Pete: Been taking those Germain Greer tablets again
Mac
(confused): Pardon
Pete: You're showing your age you know
Mac gives him a dirty look and keeps walking
Note: At the start of the ep a cop punched Pete to make his arrest (it was a sting) look more "authentic"
Pete is in the pub with his target Ron Gallagher

Cop (to Pete): Hey wanker, how’s the eye
Ron: Who’s that friggin smartass
Cop: Don't worry I won't tell a soul
Pete: Don't worry he's a cop
Pete gets up and walks towards him. Punches him in the face then grabs his shirt and talks into his ear
Pete: I'm working Dickhead
Pete punches him again this time in the stomach. The cop is lying on the floor gasping for breath
Pete: Authentic enough for you?
Pete: I'm not wearing a wire
Mac: Then how can we back you up
Pete: From a distance
Mac: I don't like it
Pete: I'm playing it safe
Bernie: That’s a matter of opinion
Mac: You're aiding and abetting a robbery I'm not even sure if it's the right way to go.
Pete: Were not arresting anyone... I'm um…. bonding. Isn't that what you wanted.
Mac
(smiles and says in a blokey voice): then take em to a footy match.
Pete
(laughing): Come on we're on a roll. I'm in on a robbery, thumped a cop.
Mac: I want you to wear a wire!
Note: Garry is Ron Gallaghers brother.

Ron
(points his gun at Pete): Get your gear off
Garry: Ron, what are you doing?
Ron: What if he's a pig?
Garry: He's a thieving bastard
Ron: He's a smart thieving bastard, get your gear off!!
Pete takes all his clothes off. Standing in front of Ron and Garry naked
Pete
(in a pissed voice): See anything you like
Ron: Nah you’re not my type.
Mac: You like this job too much Peter, it suits your personality
Pete: Is that a complement?
Mac: Probably not. You play this role too well. Whatever role you play and sometimes it's hard to know who you are. Even your relationships are undercover.
(They smile at each other) ...Just don't forget your friends.
Mac looks down to put out her cigarette. Pete puts a finger under her chin and tilts her head up. She looks at him and her hugs her.
