Peter's undercover at the pub to see Turk about a gun trade.
Peter: So where's Turk?
Bikie: You'll see him when I'm ready, I don't like to be hurried (opens his jacket revealing a gun tucked away in his belt)
Peter: (Grabs hold of the gun placing his finger on the trigger) You should know I have a fatal flaw, impatience. You want to be a soprano or do I get to do business?
Church is back at the factory after discovering he's been hired to do a hit.
Danni: Church, go it. Ran the address through the electoral roll and cross-checked it with Vick Roads.
Peter: Good on you.
Danni: Meet Tracey Mason and her husband Derek.
Peter: What ever happened to good old divorce?
A little later that day Angie and Oscars are parked outside Tracey and Derek Mason’s house in Vick Roads.
Oscar: Imagine being chained to a mortgage in a place like this.
Angie: Oh, I don't know. Nice house, dog, couple of kids. What more could you ask for?
Oscar: Was there any mention of a man in there?
Angie: Nah! Who needs them? They only let you down, so I hear.
Danni has just heard that Derek Mason has just won himself $2.5 Million Dollars and is talking to Mac and Pete over the Radio.
Danni: TWO AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS! (Over radio)
Mac: So Derek wins scratch Lotto and decides for whatever reason, he doesn't want to share.
Peter: Hires a hitman, plays the grieving husband and disappears, easy.
Danni: Yep looks like it.
Peter: Good work Dan.
Danni: Why, thank you.
Mac: Right well, stay on him.
Danni: Yep can do.
Mac: (turns to Church) I'd call that a motive. Mac's phone rings, Oscars on the other end.
Mac: Mr. Jackson, how's it going in accounts.
Oscar: (Laughs) Not to badly actually. I've traced one of Derek's clients trust accounts. The account is in the name of Toe-Cutter- Toey.
Mac: Turks business.
Peter: (laughs.) This just gets better and better.
Oscar: Looks like Derek's skimmed fifteen grand from the bikes to pay for the hit.
Mac: What? Has he got a death wish?
Oscar: Well there's more. I checked out his Internet account. He's been doing some on-line shopping. Bought himself a ticket to Rome and paid for it on a company credit card.
Mac: When's he booked to fly out?
Oscar: Day after the funeral.
Mac: All right, rap it up, Oscar, your works done there.
Peter: Where's he going?
Mac: Booked to Rome...(Is distracted by the calls of Tracy's Mother).
Tracy’s Mother: Tracy! Tracy!
Mac: Oh, great. What's she doing here?
Peter: It's Tracy's mother. I saw a picture of her on Tracy's fridge.
Tracy’s Mother: Tracy! Tracy! (Runs into the safehouse where Tracy's staying, bumping into Angie along the way) Now, where's my girl. Tracy! Tracy!
Tracy: Mum, What are you doing here?
Tracy’s Mother: Well after talking to you on the phone, I decided you needed your mum. So I've come to sort things out. You'll fix up a room for me here, right!
Mac: Yes, Now Mrs. Smith.
Tracy’s Mother: Jessie.
Mac: Jessie, it's important that Derek doesn't get wind of what is happening here.
Tracy’s Mother: So exactly what is happening here? I mean it seems to me you've got things ouse about.
My daughter's being kept a virtual prisoner while Derek roams free. I mean he's the one who should be behind bars.
Mac: But you...but you understand if Derek finds out Tracy’s alive we will lose him.
Tracy’s Mother: Derek is useless. He's weak and gutless.
Tracy: Mum!
Tracy’s Mum: I'm sorry darling, but it's true. Trust him to hire a hit man. He doesn't even do his own gardening.
Tracy: Mum! We don't even know anything for sure yet.
Tracy’s Mother: That's exactly my point.
Mac: We're doing everything we can to get a conviction.
Tracy’s Mother: By tomorrow my family will think that Tracy is dead. Can you imagine how they'll feel? And what happens then? Mac walks out of the apartment with Angie following close behind.
Mac: Good one Ange.
Angie: Mac, I was out of options, it was either let Tracy make the call or she was going to walk. What do we do about Joan Crawford in there?
Mac: Hey, it's your call, just keep her away from Mason.
Later back at the factory Oscar has just arrived back from his day working as Derek’s accountant and heads over to Mac's office.
Oscar: I'll have a report on Derek Mason's financial transactions on your desk in half an hour.
Mac: Great… (Sounding flat.)
Oscar: You ok?
Mac: Yeah! It's just that umm...Look we've go Derek's motive, we've got Derek's method, but if we don't handle this properly, it will all fall to pieces.
Oscar: What's bugging ya'?
Mac: Everything, Tracy, Tracy's mother, this who funeral thing. I just didn't think it would get this far. I though we'd set him up and he'd fall over, but he's better then that. Where just going to have to make sure this next move is the right one.
Oscar: Nice to see your human.
Mac: Mmm?
Oscar: Well, you know, most of the time it looks like you're infallible. Glad to see you're like us, you've got your moments. (Walks out of the room.)
Mac: Ah, Moments?
Oscar: (pokes his head around the door) Yeah, moments!
Mac: (Picks up the phone and dials Head Office) Yeah, Detective Mackenzie for Bill Hollister please...Moments, tsh!
