Danni is paying Church a visit in jail after he has been assigned to go in undercover to retrieve inside information on a serial killer who's targeting a list of law enforcers and crown witness relating back to an old murder.
Security Guard: Five minutes, Simpson.
Pete: So this is their idea of desk duty, is it?
Danni: Mac took sympathy on a poor underutilized pregnant woman.
Pete: (Laughs) Yeah! Very convenient. How are you feeling?
Danni: No problems! How you going?
Pete: Fine! Love my cellmate.
Danni: Yeah I'm sure!
Pete: He's got a friend called Lois. He's getting out this afternoon. He's delivering some stuff for my mate.
Danni: Well, I might have to look him up, find out what you're been up to with out me around.
Pete: Yeah! I think you should. Martin Lois, but he's not your type, let me till you now.
Danni: I might have to be the judge of that. Hey! Got a date for that hearing thingy. It's in four days. Got to go, things to do. (Both Pete and Danni place their hands against the glass window to say goodbye to each other before Pete is lead back away by the security guard, while Danni gets up and leaves)
Later Angie and Oscar are waiting in the car. They have both been tracking Lois' movements after his release from prison.
Mac: Got Lois?
Oscar: Yeah Mac! He came straight here from prison. Been with him all the way.
Mac: Good! Don't let him out of your sight.
Oscar: Looks like the boys from homocide have joined us. (Lois takes out a small package containing a disk and drops it in the garbage bin. Shortly after a council worker walks over to the bin)
Angie: Hey! (Points) Shit! That guys going to empty the bin.
Oscar: Dould be the contact. (Just then one of the homocide detectives, a bloke named Jardine, walks over to the guy and starts talking to him, stuffing up the operation in the process).
Angie: If he is homocides going to blow it.
Oscar: Great! What if one of those council blokes was the contact?
Angie: Oh! No way of pulling it now and if he wasn't one of them he was sure as hell watching. He won't be sticking around.
Oscar: Homocides stuffed up.
Angie: (Eyeing of the bin) But the package is still up for grabs.
Oscar: I'll get it. (Steps out of the car).
Angie: I'll take car of Mr Lois.
Oscar walks over to the bin to retrieve the package. Just as he does Det. Jardine walks over and approaches him.
Det. Jardine: Hey, hold it right there, Buddy.
Oscar: I think we're on the same side, Mate.
Later Oscar, Mac and Angie are all back at teh factory. Oscar is working on the computer, while Angie is on the phone attempting to make a phone call.
Oscar: Brownings a real code monkey. This disk is 128 bit encrypted and his password protected the zip file. (Angie gets off the phone and walks over behind Oscar to watch on)
Mac: How'd you get in?
Oscar: Usual run, birthdate, date of conviction, drivers license...
Angie: And?
Oscar: The date he went down for.
Mac: Charming!
Oscar: The rest was easy. Analyse the program, dencrypt and he we are.
(Flashes up a list of names on the computer of the people targeting by Browning)
Mac: OK! Colin Hardcastle, that's our judge. Then we've got Det. Sen. Sgt. Peter Green.
Oscar: Police Prosecutor.
Mac: Jim McCraven!
Oscar: Det. Sargeant. He was the arresting officer.
Mac: We've got Gary Morgan and Sharon King.
Oscar: Morgan's the main witness and this Sharon King's a mystery woman.
Angie: Looks llike he's got all sorts of details on them.
Oscar: Hmm, Well all except this Sharon King.
Mac: Yeah! Well just a description; Short dark hair, 165 cm, slight build, well dressed, late thirties.
Angie: Could be you, Mac.
Mac: Late thirties, thank you.
Oscar: No address on her, nothing. What if justice Hardcastle was only the beginning. This look's like a hit list.
Later on Danni is visiting her Obstetrition, Carlisle, after receiving a phone call from her earlier.
Carlisle: The radiologist was checking for any injury caused by your car accident. I checked the picture again just to be sure and that's when I noticed this problem.
Danni: but we've had altrasounds before.
Carlisle: Would have been impossible to detect earlier, but it's... It's quite clear now.
Danni: So this Hyper...
Carlisle: `Hyperplastic Left Heart Syndrome'
Danni: What's the affect?
Carlisle: Look, it could be appointed to a whole lot of other problems and we don't know how serious they might be till we do another test and amneocentesis.
Danni: Isn't that a bit risky?
Carlisle: The test does carry a very small risk of miscarriage. It's 1 in 200, but the odds of this heart condition being symptomatic of other serious problems in your child are much greater than that.
Danni: Right!
Carlisle: I'd strongly recommend you have the test, OK!
Danni: OK!
Later Danni is visiting Church back in custody. After telling Pete the shocking news. He does not take it the best.
Pete: Bloody hell!
Danni: I don't know what to do.
Pete: You should have the test. Find out what we're dealling with. It'll be fine. Better to know, (Danni nods) Trust me!
