MacKenzie is headed back to the factory in her red Falcon Sedan. She is chatting on her mobile phone to Bryan Gray, from armed Robery.

MAC: Did you hear what I said...Yep!(indicates right with her indicator)...Yes Bryan! I know that...It's all lined up...Still Eleven O'Clock (Steps out of the vehicle)...No, there's still no word on who they are...Duke! Yep, you will be the first to know as soon as he finds out...Bryan (Opens the door to the staff room and enters)We've got to work together on this...Yep! I know! I understand. (walks straight past Angie and Danni. Angie goes and throws a piece of scrunched up paper into the bin causing Danni to react thinking she's throwing it at her) Yes Bryan, yep! (Enters into the kitchen where Oscar is preparing waffles).

OSCAR: Tell him to relax.
MAC: Bryan, why not just relax a little.
OSCAR: It's all under control.
MAC: It's all under control...Yep! speak to you soon. (Hangs up and removes the earpiece from her ear). It is under control isn't it?
OSCAR: Absolutely!
MAC: He's having kittens'.
OSCAR: (Laughs)What else is new?
MAC: What's that smell?
DANNI: (Enters) Don'ts ask!
OSCAR: Waffles.
MAC: Waffles! Again?
OSCAR: Have one!
MAC: OK! I will try one...This time. Oh, by the way armed robbery have already surrounded the T.A.B. so...
OSCAR: Well, I hop they're patient we're not knocking it over till eleven. MAC: I mentioned that.
(Enters Angie)
OSCAR: Dig in, Ang.
ANGIE: Oh mate, I'm so full.
OSCAR: Danni?
DANNI: Oh, no, no! I couldn't fit in another bite.
MAC: Who bought this waffle maker anyway?
OSCAR: Oh, I did. Used the money left over from last month's kitty. Pretty good, aye!
MAC: Mmm, mmm! Shouldn't you be getting ready?
OSCAR: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
MAC: Oscar, you amaze me. You're about to commit an armed robbery and...
OSCAR: Mac, I am meeting Wayne at ten, trying to find out who we're working with. Armed Robbery pick us up at eleven. I'll be back here by about lunch time.
DANNI: Just another day!
OSCAR: Trust me, Mac. It's all going to run like clockwork.

Later on Oscar is in the Van with Wayne, Craig and Craig's brother Bevan speeding away from the scene of the crime after things all went terribly wrong leading to a police shoot out resulting in Bevan being shot.

OSCAR: Stay still, mate. Try and stay still.
CRAIG: Where are you hit, Bevan?
BEVAN: In my stomach, aaah! (writhering in pain whilst clutching his abdomen in an attempt to stop the bleeding).
CRAIG: (To Oscar) You're hurting him, man.
OSCAR: I'm trying to stop the bleeding.
WAYNE: This is bad! It wasn't meant to happen like this.
OSCAR: There's a hospital back the other way.
WAYNE: The plan is the warehouse. We all agreed.
OSCAR: Then we change the plan.
WAYNE: We made the plan for a reason.
CRAIG: Everything's going to be ok! Alright!
WAYNE: Where did those cops come from? Someone must have tipped them off.
CRAIG: Hey! You didn't have to start SHOOTING!
WAYNE: Yeah! What else was I suppose to do?
OSCAR: Wayne, forget it. If we don't take Bevan to a doctor he's going to die.
CRAIG: MY BROTHER IS NOT GOING TO DIE!!

Later at the Sunshine Hospital. MacKenzie is visiting Bryan Gray, who copped a gunshot wound the upper thigh during the shootout at the T.A.B.

MAC: You know, they were barely out of the van when you intercepted them.
BRYAN: Ah! They fired on me, Mac.
MAC: Now they probably think someone's tipped them off and my man is still out there with them.
BRYAN: Hey! hey, I'm the one who got shot you know.
MAC: Which just means you didn't cover your own ass better then you covered anyone elses.

(Enter the resident surgeon, Doctor Steele, who has his patient records out ready to take notes).

BRYAN: That's a bit rough, Mac.
DR. STEELE: Good after noon.
BRYAN: But bloody time. You're the intern are you?
DR. STEELE: I'm Dr. Steele the General Resident on call.
BRYAN: Hummp! Look a bit young for a surgeon.
DR. STEELE: The surgeon will be along soon.
BRYAN: Hey! hey, I have been shot you know. It is kind of urgent.
DR. STEELE: Superficial!
BRYAN: Hey! Excuse me. How `bout...How `bout I talk to your boss.
DR. STEELE: That's your parogative. But if you're in a hurry to get out of here...
MAC: Give him a stitch for me. (Both Mac and Dr. Steele exit)

Meanwhile back in the getaway van Bevan is screaming from the pain inflicted from the gunshot wound.

OSCAR: I say we ditch the plan and go the hospital, now!
CRAIG: (Thinking over it reluctanly agrees) DO IT! Fine. (The van takes a sudden sharp turn causing Oscar and Graig to lose they're balance, rambing into the back of the front seat).
OSCAR: Whoa Mate! Whoa mate! Not long to go.

Meanwhile back at the hospital. Mac and Church are still trying to locate Stone.

MAC: Any news from Oscar?
PETE: No!
MAC: Anything on the tope that might tell us their plans?
PETE: We lost transmission on the tape before the van arrived at the T.A.B.
MAC: Damn!
PETE: Get's worse.
MAC: How can it be worse?
PETE: Stoney's gun! We picked it up outside the pub. Must have gone off out of his hands when the bullets started flying.
MAC: So he's unarmed. They could be half way to New South Wales by now.

Mac and Church exit just as Wayne Pulsen, Graig Willian and his brother Bevan and Oscar pull up in the light green van.

CRAIG: (Opens the van door) OK! Wayne, you and me. We grab a doctor. Let's go.
OSCAR: Whoa, Whoa! A doctor?
CRAIG: We grab someone. We take `em somewhere they can fix up Bevan.
OSCAR: Graig, mate! He needs a surgeon. He needs surgery. What good is one doctor going to do?
CRAIG: Have you got a better idea?
OSCAR: We take Bevan in and leave him there.
CRAIG: He'll be arrested.
OSCAR: He'll be alive.
CRAIG: Alright! Alright! Wayne, give us a hand.

(Craig and Stone go to carry Bevan into the hospital. Wayne comes to lend a hand before going back to close the door of the van).

Meanwhile, the camera shot goes back over to Bryan, who is lying in his hospital next to this fat lady patient, which coincidently is just around the corner from where Craig and Oscar are carrying Bevan in.
BRYAN: Come on! Come on. How long do you have to wait around here?
FAT LADY PATIENT: You turned down the surgeon. I would have been happy with a resident.
(Enters a nurse)
BRYAN: Hey! hey, hey. Can you please get the surgeon.
NURSE: More than my life's worth.

BEVAN: Oh God! Put me down. Put me down. Oh, I'm going to die. (writhering in pain) It's killing me!
OSCAR: Take it easy. Take it easy.
CRAIG: Which way, man?

Back in Bryan's ward.

NURSE: Are you alright?
BRYAN: No! I'm not alright. I've been given the run around.
NURSE: Well, I'm just about to take my lunchbreak, but I'll tell the sister you want a word.
BRYAN: Yeah! Good on ya'.

OSCAR: (To Craig) We need to get a doctor.
BEVAN: Look, Craig, please.
CRAIG: Someone will fine him here.
OSCAR: But what if they don't? We can't take that chance. He needs help now.

(Just at that moment Bryan spots both Oscar and Craig standing across the corridor from his hospital bed)
BRYAN: Shhit! (Trying to sit up)
Suddenly a scream is heard from the other end of the hospital as Wayne goes and takes an innocent cleaner hostage mistaking her for a nurse.

OSCAR AND CRAIG: (looking at each other) Wayne!

Both men bolt off down the corridor leaving Bevan behind squirming in pain on the floor.

They get near to entrance only to spot Wayne holding one of the cleaning ladies hostage. Stone suggests to Wayne that they leave her and just try to make a dash for it when police arrive on the scene blocking off the front enterance forcing them to backtrack.

BRYAN: Psst! Hey! Next door. Can you grab my mabile phone that's sitting on top of my clothes just here.
FAT LADY PATIENT: You can't use a mobile in a hospital. Be patient, someone will come.
BRYAN: Hey! This is an emergency.
FAT LADY PATIENT: I've got appendicitis.

Stone, Craig and Wayne come running downthe corridor of the hospital. Wayne has got hold of the cleaning lady by the arm. Police suddenly start to swarm in and the cleaning lady temperarily manages to make a dash hiding under a table.

OSCAR: We're stuck.
CRAIG: You got a better idea?

Meanwhile MacKenzie and Church are coming out of a convenicence store, still trying to locate Oscar. MacKenzie is on her mobile.

MAC: Yep! Let me know if you here anything. Still no word on the van and no word on Oscar.
PETE: The whole things a cokup, Mac. Gray's the Fat Jerk. If he hadn't opened his mouth we'd of got `em all by now.
MAC: Right! we've got to go through Wayne's known associates. We must be able to find out who he's doing this job with. (Suddenly Mac's phone rings) Oh, speak of the devil. Hallo Bryan, little bit busy right now. We've go some robbers to catch, remember!
BRYAN: Mac, they're here.
MAC: Bryan, I haven't got time.
BRYAN: Wayne Pulsen and his mates. They're here. (Draws the curtain back)
MAC: What?...(To Peter)There at the hospital. (Addressing Bryan) Is Stone there?
BRYAN: Yes!
MAC: Alright! Who else? Who else is with him?
BRYAN: Hang on a sec. Hang On! (Draws the curtain back a little bit more to peer through)
MAC: Get onto D24. So, someone there must be shot?
BRYAN: Oh, who knows. I can see Wayne and Stone's around here somewhere. I'm not sure where. (Suddenly the curtain is drawn right back and Graig is standing right over him pointing a gun at him)
MAC: Bryan, who else is there? Wayne, who else?
BRYAN: (Suddenly Oscar appears into view. Standing right behind Graig). Shit!
MAC: Bryan, are you there?

Later at the hospital all of the police squad have just arrived and surrounded the building. MacKenzie and Peter arrive together in Mac's vehicle.

PETE: OK! I'll give word to the dcops on the other side.
MAC: Good idea! We don't want some constagble taking a shot at Oscar.
PETE: Yep!

A little later Bryan, the fat lady patient and the cleaning lady have all been taken hostage and are sitting on the floor next to the wall of the ward.

OSCAR: (Comes running over) What do we do now?
WAYNE: Chill out man.
OSCAR: There's cops everywhere.
WAYNE: Got to shoot our way out.
CRAIG: Shutup! Wayne, you're the one who got us into this.
WAYNE: (Grabbing Craig by the shirt colar) You came to me for this job, right. Got it! This is part of the plan.
CRAIG: Wasn't part of shooting him was it?
OSCAR: This isn't doing us any good...
WAYNE: Whoa! (pointing his gun at the young general resident doctor) Where are you going?...Move!
CRAIG: You a doctor?
DR. STEELE: Resident.
CRAIG: What does that mean, ha? Are you a doctor or not?
DR. STEELE: Yes!
CRAIG: Good, you can save my brother.
DR. STEELE: What happened to him.
CRAIG: Police shot him in the stomach.
DR. STEELE: Look, I'm not really qualified...
CRAIG: Do something. Come on, do something.
DR. STEELE: I can't do anything here. I need to get him through to the rescue bay.
WAYNE: Where's that?
DR. STEELE: Through there. (points in the direction of the room)
WAYNE: No way! We're not splitting up.
DR. STEELE: All the equipment's in there.
GRAIG: Then we all go, come on. I'll be going. Come on, get up! get up! (Oscar helps Bryan to his feet before racing ahead and helping assist Craig and Wayne with Bevan as they all head on into rescue bay next door with Bryan tagging just behind Oscar)

BRYAN: OK! There's your chance. Come on, do something, do something.
OSCAR: No gun!
BRYAN: What do you mean no gun. Where's your gun?
OSCAR: You didn't wait for our signal.
BRYAN: Bloody, dick head Wayne started shooting. What was I suppose to ...
CRAIG: Hey! what's going on?
OSCAR: (Gives Gray a backhand slap to the face) This one's giving lip. (pushing him aside violently) Piss off back to the others. (Bryan staggers of holding his face).
