Yea this was our spring musical production my sophomore year (2000-2001). We did "Oliver!" and I managed to land a very small part - I was an old lady named "Annie" (my drama teacher called me Old Lady even on the brochure) and I had a total of 4 lines and a solo..."Cold Jelly and Custard". I was on top of the world..or not.
Before you look at the pictures, make sure you know that these are REALLY REALLY bad pictures. They're almost a two years old and in all of them I think I have my stage makeup on which makes me look really horrible. Fisher was experimenting with old lady lines so all the old ladies were his "lab rats"..it was exciting.. (Fish is our drama teacher just so you know..)
These are all of the Ladies of Ill Repute..better known as all the whores. Their costumes were awesome..just check out my costume down a little bit..it's so ugly!! Not to mention it was 10 sizes too big. Big dress, steep stairs, clumsy Trina..not a good combination :)
In the purple would be Liz (with an "L"!). Behind her in the hat is Waylon better known as "Willard". Next to Liz is Sarah and next to her on the far right is one of our lead roles, Matt (Dodger) - he's awesome!
Mr. Brownlow! Seth was definately the coolest. I had a choir class with him but he didn't notice me until the musical started and we became really good friends. One night I was waiting for my turn to enter on the stage and he had a cane..needless to say I entered a little bit early because he decided to shove me out onto the stage. I was good though, I didn't turn around and look at him..I was tempted to. He's so awesome though.
Liz with an "L"!!! I wasn't really calling her a loser..the L was for Liz.. She's a Lady of Ill Repute too (I think I already told you that..). She was also a rose seller (she sucks..I wanted that part) and she's extremely talented. Not to mention she has a HOT brother... :) That picture is so bad...just ignore me, Liz looks cuter..
This loser would be Marylesa - she's crazy when she wants to be. We were in the makeup room waiting for Moe to be done doing makeup so we could get ours on and Marylesa found a straw hat..
The one in the middle leaning back would be Amber and the one behind her in the yellow shirt is Ashley. Amber was a Lady of Ill Repute (can you tell? Haha, just kidding) and Ashley had a lead role as "Nancy's" best friend..I don't remember her character's name though...
Jukie was just being herself and I happened to get a picture of it..she's definately the weirdest person I know..
From left to right that's Willard (his real name is Waylon), Brandi (she was Mrs. Corney - she and Destry stole the show, they were so funny :), and yea that would be me with my really scary stage makeup on..
Annie Thumbs! She wasn't in the show because Fisher is dumb but I met up with her after our last performance and she's just so adorable that I HAD to get a picture with her. She's so cute! Hahaha...
This is Devon and I, Devon was the coroner's wife (I can't spell). She did a really good job - I had to keep telling her that her part didn't suck. :)
The last two pictures were from the production my freshman year, "Hello, Dolly". I only had two that were good enough to scan..not even that. Haha..these are two years old and in both of them, we're all wearing stage makeup. We're not really that freaky in real life =) Except for Jukie..just kidding!! :)
This would be my friend, Nate. We took this picture at our "cast party" in the cafeteria after the last show. I was all for the free pizza...after a 2 1/2 hour to 3 hour show we ate probably 10 boxes of pizza. We also had a HUGE cast..I think we had 80 something..it was really exciting when the whole cast had to fit on our little stage with this big set behind us..it was a lot of fun though.
The three musketeers! Haha, starting from the right that's Kristen (Mama Jugs), Jessica (Jukie), and myself..it's really, really old - I still had braces. That's kinda scary..
