How to dye Rims
I have used regular RIT
dye... and I would recommend keeping the
watertemp less than boiling... to lessen any chance of warping
the
wheels. Ihave dyed wheels in water around 120-140 degrees.. about
what
your waterheater runs... hotter may be fine and will get the job
done
fasterthough. In the past I have used near boiling water...Keep a
bowl
of cool water close (and some paper towels) so you canremove the
wheels
and dip in the water occasionaly to check theprogress, as the
longer you
'dye' them the darker they get... so don't stop until it's as
dark as you
want
