like the ephemeral passage
of a Rainbow and a star.
The Rainbow leaves an echo

which follows its parting,
and the star of morning arises.

and reveal a region of
magnificent beauty. The star
is an angel of flaming torch.
The river sheens gold,
like a burning cataclysm,
reflecting light and color
into the darkest shadows of day.
The crystalline air is glory,
a shower of a thousand sparks
of light is descending upon
the haunting sweetness of our love.
Glorious arches of color
break the soft bonds of the sun,
turning my soul forever
toward the heaven of your love.
By some grace of magic,
like the Rainbow and star,
