Main Meetings

York St John Christian union meets every Friday evening during term time. About 40 students, both Christians and non-Christians, meet in an informal setting in the college Chapel. We find it is a great night to meet together to focus on Jesus and worship God after a week at college. The meeting usually lasts about 1 hour and during that time we spend time singing together, praying and listening to a speaker who has been invited to speak on the part of the Bible we are looking at that week.

We also have 'specials' nights where we do something a bit different… this can take the form of an international night - focussing on the work of God in other countries or simply a Social - where the event organised often reflects the personality of the person doing the organising!!

Once a year we go away as a group for the weekend for a 'House Party'. This year's House Party is 7-9 November. Watch this space for more information...
