Please pray for our Good Shepherd, Archbishop Emilius Goulet, Bishop of the Archdiocese of St. Boniface.

MASS INTENTIONS

Please remember to offer Masses for your special intentions; especially your departed loved ones.  Also, please pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life in Canada.

We need to be close to Jesus Christ in his Eucharistic Sacrifice.

If you would like a Mass said, please see Father Joe.

Did you know the Rosary is a powerful weapon used against the devil?  It is also a way to walk with Jesus and Mary while meditating on His life proclaimed in the Gospels.

During Lent, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we meditate on the Sorrowful Mysteries. to journey with Jesus to his crucifixion.

On Thursday, we meditate on the Mysteries of Light to remind us Jesus is with us today.

You are invited to join us in praying the Rosary, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:40 a.m.

Catholic saints are holy people and human people who lived extraordinary lives. Each saint the Church honors responded to God's invitation to use his or her unique gifts. God calls each one of us to be a saint.

April 7 St. John Baptist de la Salle

(1651-1719)

Complete dedication to what he saw as God's will for him dominated the life of John Baptist de la Salle. In 1950, Pope Pius XII named him patron of schoolteachers for his efforts in upgrading school instruction. As a young seventeenth-century Frenchman, John had everything going for him: scholarly bent, good looks, noble family background, money, refined upbringing. At the early age of 11, he received the tonsure and started preparation for the priesthood, to which he was ordained at 27. He seemed assured then of a life of dignified ease and a high position in the Church.
