Did you know
that Pope John Paul II declared this year as the year of the Rosary?
To pray the Rosary is a way to be with Jesus and
Mary. We are meditating on their life from the Gospels.
You are invited to join us Tuesday-Friday
To speak of reconciliation is to assume a relationship
has been broken. It may be a husband and
wife, parents and children or once close friends; something has happened to
open an uncrossable chasm that threatens the survival of the relationship. Reconciliation becomes possible only when
someone makes the first move; a hand extended, a phone call, a word spoken in
forgiveness. The Bible teaches that sin
has separated us from God. The
relationship is broken. Someone has to
make the first move. While it is we who
need to be reconciled, it is God who makes the first move. God extends not just His
hand, not just words, but His Son, Jesus Christ.
Personal Application:
For God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting peoples sins against them. This is the wonderful message He has given us
to tell others. Though we once were far
away from God, now we have been brought near to Him because of the blood of
Christ. Reconciliation begins with a recognition that without Christ, we are lost and separated
from God...

We must each make up our own mind as to how much we should give.
God measures the gifts of His people not on the basis of their size but
on the basis of how much remains. (cf.
Luke 21:1-4, The Widows Offering)
