May the Faithful Departed Be Numbered Among the Saints-Whose Names Are in the Book of Life

 

We offer prayers today for all of our sick.  Please remember to pray for Kendra Lea, Gerry Wood, Stephanie Sanders, Leah Beattie, Henry Knaggs, Anne Halabicki, Maria Reichert, Elsie Hink, Janette Warnock, John Hoes, Marcel Knockaert, and Liz Burroughs.

Please pray for our Good Shepherd, Archbishop Emilius Goulet, Bishop of the Archdiocese of St. Boniface. 

 

Please remember to offer Masses for your special intentions; especially your departed loved ones.  Also, please pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life in Canada.

We need to be close to Jesus Christ in his Eucharistic Sacrifice.

Father Tran will be officiating at a wedding in California. He will return to Manitoba Nov. 17.

FUNDRAISER FOR OUR NEW CHURCH

 We will be making 5”, 8” and 10” tourtieres on November 15^th and 22^nd.  Volunteers needed!

Families in our parish may order various booklets on our faith by filling in the order form in the back of church.  The books are roughly $6 each deal with Catholic traditions and our faith -- from a child's perspective.  Julie Kalinowski will purchase the booklets for you from Christian Supply in Winnipeg and collect the money for them when they are delivered.  These booklets are geared for children of various ages and provide excellent discussion topics for Catholic families.

Are you interested in volunteering at Tabor Home?  Consider serving coffee, delivering Meals on Wheels, wheeling residents, playing a musical instrument, visiting, playing Bingo.  If you would like to learn more about volunteering opportunities at Tabor Home, call Kathy Menzies (Wednesdays) or Ruth Olafson at 822-4848.

There will be a second parish Living Rosary ceremony on the evening of Sunday, November 30.  The children in the parish catechism program will lead this rosary.  Everyone is welcome to attend this spiritually moving celebration.

a very special thank you goes out to all those fearless workers every monday and tuesday who conscientiously complete all tasks to make our perogy making business the huge success it is!!

 

 

The C.W.L. ladies would like to invite all parish families to help out with our Xmas Hamper.  On October 19^th, Mother Theresa was canonized by Pope John Paul II and her humble congregation in Winnipeg will be distributing these items from our hamper to the poor children in their community.

ITEMS NEEDED:

Canned Goods, Crayons, Washable Markers, Pencils, T-shirts or Sweat shirts for ages 6 – 12 yr. old

**As you know, children are big for their ages today, i.e. a 12 yr. old girl wears misses sizes, etc.

Deadline for bringing items to church is

NOV. 30^TH.
