| St. Louis area radio stations, including WEW, WSIE, KDHX and WIBV have all broadcast Stompers' recordings. Don Wolff, heard nationwide on KMOX's "I Love Jazz" show, also routinely plays selections from the Stompers' CDs. Nationally respected as a jazz promoter, Don hosted the Stompers' August,2002 Sheldon concert. The band has also appeared on KSDK's TV show "Show Me Saint Louis." In the July 1999 edition of Jazz on the River, St. Louis Jazz Club President Don Spiegel said, "The St. Louis Stompers have become one of our best local bands. They are fresh, rehearsed, entertaining, and play great music besides!" |
