Branch Officer Training

Hello and welcome to the Branch Officer's training Guide. What is Branach Officer training? Well in short it's how to deal
with personal in that department. It's good to know what all positions in your department does. Branch training is easy for
the most part as you only need to cover two area's. Administration and Department Head.

Administration: In game terms, a successful use of administration can improve the efficiency of groups of players working
on the same task. Which means you assigning task to each player
and discussing ways to complete the task at hand.

Department Head: In game terms you have several jobs that you must complete and turn in to command. There are as
follows:

1) Conference meeting- when the CO of the ship calls for these meetings it's to give everyone a chance to voice their
ideas of the missionor update the CO of the information found for the mission. A report is given to the CO from
what all the personal in your department has discovered and it's up to the CO to use what is best for the mission.

2) To make sure players in your department know what they need to to play in that area or department. It makes it
alot more fun if everyone is on the same page and kow's how to play the right way.

3) Working with other departments- try to find ways that your department can help other departments around you.
Examples are science personal help out medical with a new virus found on someone on the crew or Intelligence
working with Security to find a spy on the ship.

Branch training is tested by the Admiral of the fleet. These way he knows that when your given a command slot that
you are a complete and trained officer able to handle command. The test involves three things.

1) How you post is very important as others under you look at how you write so doing things by our way is a must.
2) Know what your department does as you will be asked questions on it's operations.
3) Your given a post to deal with and how you handle it determines you leadership ablilites.

Well that's it, short and simple. Good luck and hope to see you soon.
