Welcome to the Bridge Certification course. This course is the most important part of command training. All Command
officers that are XO's and CO's most have this in order to become Command officers of starships. Acting officers DO
NOT need this course but it is suggested for thous looking into higher rank and command postions.
To go through this course you most have a minimun rank of Lieutenant. The course is easy to take but takes a long
time to finish. Why? Well because the time you have to do as a Second XO of the ship. During your training to take
the postion of the XO and perform his duties while the XO or CO watches over you during shifts on the bridge.
Most of the time it's for one mission after which the CO writes the Admiral of the fleet a letter of training. If it's a
good report and you complete your bridge training, you will be given your badge of certification which goes on your
records. So here is what is needed to complete your training.
1) An interaction evaluation by the commanding officer sent to the Fleet Admiral.
2) A written exam which includes the following area's.
a) How do you command a starship?
b) What is the function of the CO and the XO.
c) What are the Rules of Engagement?
d) Diplomancy-command gives you a scenero that you most write on, how do you solve the problem.
One of the benefits from this course if completed is a promotion in rank one level up to Commander.
