 What is the difference between all the other simms and New Worlds?
 New Worlds uses the StarTrek Roleplaying made by Wizards of the Cost and StarTrek Reference books to make the
 game more to that on TV. It is a hybrid of Simming (email or ICQ) playing and roleplaying (uses templates and books).

 How does that efeect me as a player? 
 As you get higher in rank and experience you get skills which all captain's will have for you in the bio section of your
 post. Just like in real life the more you know the higher up you go plus it makes you (your character) feel like to are
 doing more than writing post. You get to see your character develope on the screen. It makes it more fun.

 How do I start off at a higher rank?   
 You can go through Red Squadron training which if you pass you can start of as a Lt(jg) or you can ask your CO
 to take the bridge officer's course.

 How come I can't start of as Chief of a Department?
 It's a case by case ordeal but mainly because you need experience as you can have other players under you. If you
 have experience from another simms you can take the Branch Officers test and if you pass you get a rank boost and
 you can start off as a Department Head and Yes if you take the Red Squadron test you could start of as a Full Lt.

 What's the difference between Email and ICQ?
 E-mail is done by email groups links that allows players to both write about their actions from other players actions and
 also allows for personal logs about something not in play. It also allows you to write when you have the time.
 ICQ is a live chat that is only reaction writing and you can't do personal logs plus it has a set time to play. So if you
 miss a day it could be two weeks before you get to do anything plus you have no idea of what happen last time.

 Can I become a ship captain after I've been with the group awhile?
 Yes, in fact as you go up in rank and reach the proper levels and have taken all the needed courses you will get an
 offer to run your own ship or stay where you are at.

  Can I have more than one Character?
  Yes if you follow the following rules. 1) only one character per ship to a max of three (two is the average).
                                                          2) only one can be in a command level position.
                                                          3) post once per week as you are required to.
