  Good Day, I'm General Johathan Durst the commanding Officer of Operations NewWorlds. New Worlds has
  been given the Green light to proceed after the Dominion War to come more military like and be prepared
  for things to come. That's where we come in. The Marine Corp has been given new goals and procedures
  to deal with the raising forces aginst the Federation and it's allies. The following orders have been given.

1) To have a force on hand to deal with any and all combat related objectives without modifing or upgrading
     personal equipment which a battle is at hand. Thus the Marines will fill this role.

2) To be ready and deployable without the need of starships or support ships from the main fleets of Starfleet.
    Which means having their own ships and command structure to deal with these issues.

3) To have the need personal and forces to keep and mantain the needed readiness which the council has
    voted on, to protect the Federation and it's members for future generations.

With this in mind the StarFleet Marine Corp Expeditionary Unit  is now operational.
