Game
Recap |
HIGHLIGHTS:
     For the Hammerheads,
the game started as usual - Mike didn't show up
in the goals until about 5 minutes into the game.
As for the Sting, it looked like the whole team
forgot to check in until the second period.
Otherwise, there is no real explanation to the 6
unanswered goals scored by the Hammerheads in the
first period. Only after the first intermission
they offered some fight and resistance and even
scored one goal. But it was only a lone sting and
didn't hurt the Hammerheads who easily finished
the game with the record high 46 shots. There was
no match on the Sting team to the first two lines
of the Hammerheads who scored all nine goals.
Noticeable streaks:
     - Ryan Limaye:
goal and point scoring streaks were interrupted.
In the previous 10 games he scored 23 goals and
accumulated 30 points.
     - Mike Chicas:
6th win in a row (new club record!),
undefeated in 10 games (8-0-2).
     - Ken Anstey:
19 points (9+10) in 5 games.
     - Artem
Mishin: 13 points (9+4) in 6 games.
     - Brent
Jenkins: 12 points (5+7) in 4 games.
     - Craig
Wallace: 11 points (6+5) in 5 games.
